My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My parents had the good idea to give me a name that is supposed to mean "God's Gift", so I've got no other choice but to live up to this. Thankfully I seem to be doing okay in terms of being a boon to the world, or at least to my friends and relatives, with some extra badassery on the side.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Making sure I can look back on it at some point and be proud of it. At the moment, it includes self-improvement in body and mind through boxing, bass practice (more like bassturbation at the moment, since I am just starting), reading and watching classic and modern works; trying to do the right -and kind- thing as much as I can; and discovering the world through trips, languages, and food.

But all this wouldn't mean a thing if I were to keep it just for myself, so I want to share as much as possible with unique, awesome people I have the honor to call friends, or that special someone I'd want to give the world to. I've got a big heart, so there's room for more people. If you think you have what it takes to sweep me off my feet with your general awesomeness, feel free to tag along !
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I've been told I am really good at being comfortable to lie on after sex. Sex with me, I mean. Please don't come and use me as a mattress after some random booty call. I can't guarantee I'll be as comfy in any other context, but I am confident it should work out well anyway. Feel free to try it out (but please ask first).

I am good at drunken karaoke renditions of Bonnie Tyler's "Total eclipse of the heart" (the original version with the ninja dancers, not the heresy that is the french cover). Other favorites include Queen's "I want to break free" and some selected works from ABBA and Britney Spears, because hey, my inner woo girl has to be let out sometimes.

I am good at cooking stuff I've encountered during my trips or life experiences: Japan's nira-tama and cha-han (all time favorites among my friends), Finland's salmon soup, my grandmother's pâté lorrain, ... Artichoke bisque is the most recent addition to my cookbook, and I am already dealing with severe cases of addiction to it among my friends and relatives.

For everything else, there's MasterCard - I mean I do reasonably fine.
The first things people usually notice about me

I may look gruff and grumpy sometimes, but I am actually pretty easy-going and friendly; and I'll gladly make a fool of myself if it leads to a good story to retell afterwards.

My foreigner friends also tell me I am the least french French person they know. I choose to take this as a compliment.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

There are lots. We can talk about that later. I'll keep it short for now.

one book : A confederacy of dunces
one movie : There's something about Mary (how deliciously mean this movie is !) Let me just add that I am often hanging out at Forum des Images, especially during the "étrange festival". That should tell you enough about my tastes in movies.
one TV show : South Park
one band : Anything involving Trent Reznor.
Food : I am open and willing to try many things, but nobody will make me eat brussel sprouts. This is not a challenge, and you are not accepting it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Probably the same things than you, so instead, I'll give you the 5 D's of dodgeball:
- Dodge
- Duck
- Dive
- Dip
- and Dodge
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Bruce Campbell's career as an actor. Seriously.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
If I am free on Saturday and my friends are up for a dive bar ... Expect me. Expect anything. For example, I'd be happy to go see some live wrestling at the Lucha Libre, or join the heavy metal karaoke at la Cantada, or even drink some cocktails at the Dirty Dick. Anybody up for it?

Otherwise, it's a book or a movie at home, or some kind of practice either at the gym or on the bass. Expect nothing.

Recently I am also taking massage classes about once a month with a friend who's a certified masseuse. Curiously my popularity among my other friends has skyrocketed since.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I have a weakness for girls who look like Snow-White. You know, the likes of Julie Andrews, Jennifer Connelly, Zooey Deschanel : fair skin, dark hair and blue, gray or green eyes. Probably because there's a little bit of Doc and Dopey in me.

you think that stories only happen to those who are able to tell them; and you are one of these people. Oh, the stories we'll share !

Also, you've completed a reasonable amount of your profile. Not that I crave endless blocks of self-descriptions, but I like to get a feeling of the person before I contact her, and there's nothing like the little rush I get when I realize someone has some tastes in common with me or is pretty witty. If I wanted to talk to perfect strangers solely based on their looks, I could do it in a bar. Thank you !
