My Self-Summary

A lot of titles can be attached to me, but I think the title of poet is the most fitting. I've been writing poetry for a number of years now, and my work is constantly evolving. I used to facilitate open mics in several parts of the island, but I have decided to retire and set my sights in other directions. I am still a regular participant in Staten Island's open mic scene and can be found performing at various venues.

What I’m doing with my life

I am also a published author. I have been included in literary magazines such as Third Rail, Unquiet Desperation, and Nomad's Choir. However, my proudest accomplishment as a writer was my book, Serotonin Seas. It is a collection of forty poems written over a span of six years. If you purchase Serotonin Seas, some poems I recommend include Calculations, Blood Of The Lamb, Two Words, and of course, Suicide Bomber.

Trails Through The Greenbelt is now available to the masses and can be found on all major online retailers. We are hoping to sell them all over the city. Thank you to all who have contributed work to, dedicated time to producing, and made a commitment to purchasing a copy of this anthology of 48 Staten Island poets, artists, and writers.

I’m really good at

Most things artistic, such as writing, poetry, photography, journaling, and sometimes I design stuff on the computer. I also like a good game of poker, especially Texas Hold'em. Billiards is another favorite game of mine. I've also become addicted to playing spades.

The first things people usually notice about me

Definitely my red hair and my blue eyes. My hair used to be really long, but I just recently cut it short. Ask me if you want to see old photos of me, because my appearance changes every once in a while.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: The Catcher In The Rye, On The Road, Dante's Inferno, Stupid White Men, MacBeth, anything by Edgar Allen Poe, Robert Frost, Emily Dickinson, and the poetry of Sylvia Plath, Allen Ginsburg, and Rudyard Kipling.

Movies: The Wall, Yellow Submarine, The Matrix, Amelie, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, Across The Universe, and anything by Quentin Tarantino and Kevin Smith.

Music: The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Neil Young, U2, Smashing Pumpkins, Rage Against The Machine, Alanis Morissette, Erykah Badu, The White Stripes, and The Polyphonic Spree

Food: Italian, Japanese, French, and especially Indian and Mexican are faves. I love spicy food.
