Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
To label or not to label. That is the question.
I could throw a bunch of things out there. I support LGBT and Poly,
am Bi-curious. I'm open minded, a writer, a nerd, a pagan, but what
all does that really tell you? How do you boil a person down to a
Hi. My name is Rachel. It's nice to meet you.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I make my living chatting with people online as a customer
service/sales agent. As of December 2012, I hit my 5th anniversary
at my current job.
I love writing books and stories, and work toward professional
publishing. I've also got a line of home improvement projects set
up that I'm researching and plan to execute as I save up and
purchase the supplies. Learning about construction and building has
fascinated me and I can't wait for the first completed project to
see how it all turns out.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Really good working with computers, and I can set up complex
entertainment systems with no problem. I enjoy playing video games
and have both played and run a few tabletop games. I pickup new
things fast, but the thing I'm best at is listening to people.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I tend to be very quiet and reserved, and keep to myself for the
most part. A lot of people seem to trouble approaching me, but when
they do I'm very friendly. Sometimes I jump into a conversation,
but most often I sit back and let others talk.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I love the Dragonriders of Pern series, Harry Potter, Lord of the
Rings, and several works by Robert Heinlein. I gravitate to science
fiction, fantasy, paranormal, or anything else with a
extra-ordinary element to it, but I also enjoy anything with a well
Among my Favorite televisions shows are Doctor Who, The Pretender,
Farscape, Firefly, Buffy, X-files, Star Trek and Babylon 5. I am a
big anime fan and love Japanese RPGs. I also fully beleive in
indulging and spending time with my inner child, and so keep a
collection of childhood favorites, including SheRa, My Little Pony,
Gummy Bears, Rainbow Bright, as well as collecting the new releases
of the Disney classics.
The movies I am most apt to see in theater are new 3D animated
films, science fiction and fantasy films.
For food, I love Sushi, chicken, fresh fruit and vegetables. My
favorite sandwich of all time is my own 'garden salad' sandwich,
where I stack as many vegetables as I can on it, including alfalfa
sprouts! And of course, I have an absolute weakness for chocolates
and ice cream.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My book(s) is always on my mind, in one form or another. What is
the next plot point or the next scene, how would this character
react to that, or what element do I need to remember to
When I'm not thinking about my writing, I'm working through the
different home improvement projects I have planned and spend time
learning more about carpentry and how to execute the
I also spend a great deal of time thinking about my family, who are
going through hard times. I want very much to be able to help them
and support them, as each year makes it harder for them to make
Other things I think about is how I measure up to my own personal
standards and what I can be doing better. I also think a lot about
my future and what I want to do with myself.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm at home watching TV or on my computer. Sometimes my roommates
and I go out to the movies or getting something to eat.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't often show a lot of emotion, and a lot of what I feel is
intellectual, but when things do get under my skin they run deep.
It can take a while for me to open up, but when I do, what I open
up to is there to stay.
