My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
East coaster turned Californian. You'll never take the east coast out of me, but love the weather out here more. I'm comfortable in an art gallery/museum, going to City Arts and Lectures or sitting on the couch in comfy clothes watching a good movie. Love to cook and hang out with friends. I have friends over for dinner at my house one Friday night a month. It's become a little ritual. Our lives are so full and busy, it's nice to know we will all see each other soon to catch up. Sometimes we are all to tired to cook so we order good fricken chicken. If you don't know the restaurant, it's really fricken good. The house can become a little raucous, when the kids are around or even when they are not. A little chaos is good.

I moved to San Francisco for grad school in fine arts and never left. Instead I ran my own photography business for 12 years. Switched careers for practical reasons. An awesome baby boy came into my life. My son spends half has time with his dad. Now I reap the benefits of a new career and some free time. Always learning and discovering.

I'm a very physical person, athletically and sensually. I love to hug, cuddle and snuggle.

Music is pretty important. I'm always on the search for new eclectic bands to listen to online or to see live. Good music makes me feel good. Whether its live local bands or a dj spinning at a night club, its a good way to let go and just be. That may sound kind of hippy but its not. Ballet and Modern Dancing was a part of my life as teenager and young adult. (Not that I don't still think of myself as a young adult, I just got carded when I bought a bottle of wine, ha ha ha.) I don't expect my partner to do the same exercise that I do. If you do that's a bonus. Basically, music + moving my body and being outdoors = Happy.

I like to work on projects, like growing a garden. Although, I'm not very good at it, I have fun trying. The art/photo projects have been on the back burner lately someday soon they will creep back up to the front.

Am willing to discover new things. I might be past considering parachuting or bungee jumping but I'm certainly up for a new adventure.

I don't fancy myself as a great writer, so if you've gotten this far, thanks. I'm much more of a physical and visual person.

Having fun and working hard.

I think life is about your friends and family. They make me happy, sad, angry or on top of the world. Sometimes all at the same time. Wouldn't want to be without them.

I have a wide range of tastes, it depends on the day or night. Most recent book was a tale for the time being by Ruth Ozeki.

Movies: I like going to the movies. Especially the older neighborhood theatres.

Most recent music, I love seeing live music. There are some great new venues in the mission. I love to watch ok go video's because they are hysterical. I love a band that does not take themselves to seriously.

I love food. I'll try most anything at least once.
The six things I could never do without

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you are incredibly intelligent. Intelligence is so so sexy.
If you are physically active. I am, I think it is difficult for a partner to understand the need to be physically active if they are not themselves.

Respect the fact that we both have lived very full lives and we both will come with past experiences that shape who we are. That will make us stronger and more understanding of what we want.
