My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, my name's Kelsey. I'm fairly shy until I really get to know someone and then I talk too much about too many things. When I'm not listening to music and or doing art related activities, I enjoy reading or watching things. Sometimes bad television is better than good television. Also I love riding my bike. I can be somewhat cynical and overly dramatic, but in a fun way, I think. I usually laugh harder at really stupid things than I do at legitimately funny things. I'm generally a very laid back, low maintenance person.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Going to school, majoring in Visual Arts Studies with no real life plans as of yet.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
being mediocre at visual arts, liking quality music, and making things unnecessarily awkward.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I wear a lot of flannel for someone who isn't a lesbian and also I look about 16.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I love anything by David Sedaris. I also enjoy the Lemony Snicket series (clearly), I enjoy a lot of poetry, especially the works of Edgar Allan Poe, and a lot that I can't think of right now that would probably make me sound slightly more intellectual.

I love so many movies, but mainly Ghost World, Shaun of the Dead, The Virgin Suicides, A Serious Man, Oh Brother Where Art Thou?, Fargo, Moonrise Kingdom, anything by the Coen brothers or Wes Anderson really, Heathers, Les Amours Imaginaires, Donnie Darko, Little Miss Sunsine, Napoleon Dynamite, Fight Club, Amelie, and Zoolander.

My favorite shows are Strangers with Candy, 30 Rock, Arrested Development, Mad Men, Party Down, Freaks and Geeks, Archer, Portlandia, Little Britain, Daria, Girls, That 70's Show, and The Twilight Zone. I'll also admit to having a weakness for truly terrible horror movies.

Musically, I dig Modest Mouse, Arcade Fire, of Montreal, Fleet Foxes, The Velvet Underground (& Nico), Neutral Milk Hotel, Death Grips, Odd Future, Joy Division, Shakey Graves, The Cool Kids, The Black Keys, Beach House, The Decemberists, Gorillaz, Lana del Rey, The Beatles, The Doors, Wavves, Starfucker, Animal Collective, Foxygen, Tame Impala, Violent Femmes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Strokes, The White Stripes (also Jack White and all his bands), MGMT, The Shins, Franz Ferdinand, The Kills, and a lot more
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music, my sketchbook, my pets, Netflix, and my Zippo lighter.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everything. I think about everything all the time. How strange things are and how strange normal things are and how normal strange things are.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with fun people, but more likely painting or falling asleep to a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am morally against flip flops
