My self-summary
Hello. To be forthright and direct, I'm one-half of an open marriage and am looking for a secondary companion. Essentially, someone I can hopefully click with and enjoy the company and electricity of. Please read further is you are still interested or please feel free to message me if you have any questions about me or are just curious. Also, I'm a night-owl, so chances are that if you see me logged in at night, I'm actually on here and didn't just forget to turn off my computer.

It's difficult for me to try and encompass who or what I feel I am in the span of a paragraph or two. What I can say is that I feel I am genuine and kind. I love to laugh with someone hard enough to split both our sides. To converse with someone who really pushes me to think. Pushes me to...expand as a person.

I have a habit of rambling when I'm nervous. Even when talking with someone on the internet. I'm not sure why...but it just...happens (sorry in advance to anyone I message!). So...there's my disclaimer.
What I’m doing with my life
Eat. Work. Sex. Play. Laugh. Geek. Repeat.
I’m really good at
- Quoting movies ( gets pretty bad)
- Remembering useless facts
- Combing the web for useless facts
- Discussing all things nerdy (comics/sci-fi/music etc.)
- Exercise (doing it/teaching it/talking about it) and
- Making music playlists (especially workout playlists).
- Hitting things with sticks
- Sleeping in a moving vehicle
- Enjoying pizza more than should be legally allowed
The first things people usually notice about me
I've been told it's my eyes. I believe that is FALSE. Instead, I think my sarcasm and smart-assery are much more prominent.

The six things I could never do without
Music (listening/playing)
My computer
I spend a lot of time thinking about
This is a toughie. I'm pretty scatterbrained and my thoughts really shoot all over the place. Most of my hobbies are usually consistent in my thoughts, as are several other trains of nerd thought along with other typical worries or responsibilities. Late at night is usually when I'm contemplative of life and existence and all that fun stuff that keeps me awake. If I'm not contemplating the meaning of life or something else I can hardly fathom you can typically find me absorbing as much data as possible from books or the internet. Like Johnny-5 from Short Circuit. Something like that.

I could be categorized as an autodidact. I usually just refer to myself as an uber-nerd since that's easier to explain and actually comes across as less nerdy than actually using the word "autodidact" in conversation. Now, that I've explained this, it's even more nerdy. And so on, and so forth...
On a typical Friday night I am
Relaxing at home with a movie, geeking it up on the internet, working out, going out to a restaurant, unless I've made prior plans to do something special.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I had a SEVERE crush on one of my high-school librarians. She could rock a miniskirt like no other. Sayin'.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 18–50
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
- You are okay with my marital situation
- You understand that going in, I have no expectations
- I also don't rule out the potential for true polyamory
- You don't mind long conversations about nerd stuff
- You understand that Superman is better than Batman
- You also think pizza should be its own food group

I believe in treating a woman with respect and that true communication is a requirement, as is honesty. If you take a chance on messaging me, I'm not one to partake in bullshit macho posturing or playing any sort of games.

I'm not looking to trade up my situation at home, but I also don't wish to rack up a cache of one-night stands, either. I'd like to find someone I can be attracted to on multiple levels.
