My Self-Summary
Hey, my name is Faith. Before you ask, I am named after a George
Michael album. No, really. My brother's name is Songs From The Last
Century. (It isn't really, but how cool would that be?) I'm
basically a huge nerd in that I like movies, cartoons, and comics (both eastern and western) and can
spend hours analyzing them to death, but I also have a great love
of music and
writing, among
other things.
Things you should know about me: I'm poly, and not interested in dating monogamously at this point. I have not actually gotten around to having sex yet and I'm not in a mad rush, but I'm not a prude, nor am I waiting for my one true love. I'm also kind of gender-weird, for lack of a better term, which means that I'm not yet entirely certain of my gender orientation at the moment. It's a work in progress.
Oh, I also like to ramble, but I do shut up when soundly interrupted.

What I’m doing with my life
Nothing yet, unfortunately. I tentatively plan to go to college,
I'm not yet sure where or what for. What I'd like to do is write
professionally, or possibly become a teacher.
I’m really good at
Writing, arguing, and being sarcastic. Sometimes all at once if I
can swing it. I'm also told I give pretty good advice.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
My interests vary depending on my mood, but...
Books: The Great Gatsby, Life of Pi, or the A Song of Ice and Fire series.
Movies: I like anything psychological and plotty, especially with a twist ending - older M. Night Shyamalan (I'm sort of ashamed, but I can't help it); Sorry, Haters; Fight Club; things like that. And ridiculous, convoluted things like anything Cohen brothers.
Music: My tastes change so often I wouldn't even know where to start, but they tend toward the upbeat more often than not, and I have never and will never like pop country.
Food: If it tastes good, I will eat it. But I am a vegetarian (fish, eggs, and a dairy products allowed).

The six things I could never do without
The internet, something to write on, my pets, my mom, peanut
butter, books.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Gender politics and feminism, cartoons, music, movies, the future,
and various other topics of a sociopolitical and often
controversial nature. And writing, of course.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out at my house, watching a movie and screwing around on
the internet, or with my friends, doing whatever we decide to do.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
As an aside to my regular writing, I also write fanfiction and
participate in a fandom rpg. I don’t tell most people that because
it makes them think I’m a hopeless loser. (Full disclosure: I am
indeed a hopeless loser.)
I am also childfree, which means that I do not ever want to have children and that I don't particularly like most young children, especially if they are not old enough to hold a conversation. I'm perfectly happy and comfortable with this decision, but it gets me into pointless arguments on occasion, so I usually don't bring it up.
