My name is Robert. I can be Introverted or Extroverted depending on
the circumstances and how I feel. I like to be around people most
of the time even if it is just to observe. I like
camping,
fishing and
hiking, though I haven't done it in
years. My activities as of late have been,
movies,
friends,
hookah and
drinking. When it comes to drinking I
am usually a wine and beer type, but I'll have the occasional
martini or mixed drink.
I am studying theater arts, both formally through college and
through experience. I enjoy
play writing,
acting and
directing. I am working on getting a
degree but right now I am balancing between work(or finding work),
school, and Inspiracy Arts Inc.(which is the theater company I do
volunteer work for). When it comes to a site like this it would be
nice to find a dating or serious relationship, but I am on here in
general to pass time and talk with new and interesting people. But
more about me, I suppose.
I am a Leo, my birthday is August 11, 1987. A pagan friend drew up
a natal chart for me and said I had a lot of Jupiter aspects, which
apparently means I am lucky, which goes along with the Chinese
zodiac of the rabbit. I don't put to much stalk in astrology but it
is fun and has coincidences. I like to consider myself a wine
enthusiast, I don't know to much about wine but I know enough to
know what I like and how do describe it. As far as writing goes, I
haven't written much, a few shorts plays that are mediocre at best,
but I am working on it. I have had a few things produced by the
company I work with and they met with moderate success. Feel free
to check them out at www.inspiracyarts.org.
I like music, but I don't care for loud environments so concerts
for me are few and far, far in between. I am jealous of those who
can play instruments, I myself own a guitar but don't really play.
On the Meyers-Briggs personality test I am an INTP or an ENTP. It
was a 50/50 split between introverstion and extroversion. One of
the oldest friends I have, I have known since I was in second
grade. Even though we have diverged socially and academically we
still are good friends. I have a dog, part chihuahua part Jack
Russell terrier, named Freya and a really old chihuahua who is
older than I am.
*WARNING: BORING STUFF ABOUT MY PAST*
I got my first head injury in May of 1997 when I fell from some
monkey bars and hit my head on the pavement and received a
concussion. Shortly after returning home I took a nap and went into
seizures. I spent three days in the hospital and was given
medication for seizures. I am def in my left ear, from a car
accident I was in when I was nine years old which is my second head
injury. It happened July 31, 1997 not even three months after the
concussion. My family was on our way home after vacation to Marine
World, before it became Six Flags, and we were on highway twelve
stopped at a red light. We were rear ended by a diesel rig, not an
eighteen wheeler, that was going seventy-six miles and hour. He
didn't see the light because he was talking on his cell phone. The
only one really hurt was myself. My brother got whiplash and and my
father got a bruise on his arm from the seat belt. But everything
hard in the trunk, luggage, ice box etc. went in the back of my
head. It caused a spider web fracture from the base of my skull up
to my left ear which is what severed the hearing nerve in that ear.
I was air lifted to the hospital to the hospital where I spent a
week in recovery and for three of those days I was on life support
and only given a three percent change to live. If it wasn't for the
seizure medication I was taking for the concussion I would have
died.
*BORING STUFF OVER*
I have been going to Modesto Junior College for the past three
years. I started with random classes but a couple of years ago I
discovered I actually like theater arts. So really I came across a
passion by accident. I do really enjoy all aspects of the theater
life so far, even the poverty, and hope to get into other facets of
the entertainment business or at least film. I really enjoy
road trips
when I can afford them. The only big road trip I have been on with
friends is driving up to Canada through Oregon and Washington. I
fell in love with Portland, despite all trees ha ha.
I have a few nerdy quirks. I like video games and Magic the
Gathering. I have also been known to story tell here and there with
the World of darkness series of role playing games. I am into some
eastern culture ideas. Such as meditation and chakras and energy.
To me mind is very important and I value mine greatly. I try to
keep an acute awareness about myself, my environment and those
around me. I can be stubborn at times, and can be a bit of a kid at
heart. But more often than not, especially when it comes to
business I have a serious demeanor, but it really it just that. My
nature is rather child like. Kind of like pan or something. I enjoy
dining out more often than dining in, unless I find someone who is
really good cook. I have found some fun sites online out of
boredom, like www.i-am-bored.com. I like watching family guy, King
of the Hill or House but I usually catch them online like at
hulu.com or something. Really, if you want to know more just ask.
As I said I am a play write, and working on writing in general. I
enjoy theater arts and am part of a not for profit corporation,
Insipiracy Arts Inc. I also want to become a bartender, a licensed
massage therapist and hope to travel in my future.
I don't think I am really good at anything, just okay at
everything.
My dimples, my sarcasm and my eyes. yes...in that order.
I enjoy the works of Chuck Palahniuk and Ayn Rand. I love comedy
movies like Kevin Smiths movies. I love classical music and
rock/Heavy metal. I love salmon and sea food in general, though I
won't eat Mollusks or anything like that.
Mind, body, heart, spirit, humor and people.
The future and the many possible paths it may take me depending on
the choices I make, for better or for worse.
With friends.
