I was abandoned in the forest and raised by wolves as a child. This is the excuse I give for any kind of wierdo 'spergy behaviour I might exhibit because look man, I'm trying my best here.

I make creative stuff for a living and people pay me a decent hourly rate for the making of stuff. I deal in typefaces and user interface and the gross underpinnings of the internets which allow you to buy knockoff chinese snuggies with the click of a button.

When I'm not doing that I like to do art things -- I love folk art and basically any art that makes my brain invert itself like Henry Darger and the like.

I only have two obsessions: Short Hair and Cars -- BMW in particular.

I am sweet -- but unfortunately sweet in a Lennie Small way as I have the emotional comprehension skills of a caveman.

Becoming a wandering traveller -- you'll see me here and there around New York for the next month or two.

I like books. I know how to read. I might even read some of the same books that you do. I might even like them! Apply this to movies, music, and food as well. Not enough? Fine.

I like a lot of hard sci-fi, especially pre space race stuff along the lines of Heinlein, etc. I like Robert E. Howard's Conan mythos, mostly because that dude was a hard, depressed texan who crafted out how to be a man on manuscript and then shot himself in the head. Also the first couple DUNE books. I have a kitsch obsession with '80s and '90s cyberpunk fiction. Ian Fleming's Bond stories because Bond is best as an emotionally stunted weapon of her majesty's death.

My favorite movies are Videodrome, Blade Runner, Danger Diabolik, Barbarella, What's New Pussycat -- basically a bunch of '70s, italian, head bending stuff.

I like a whole lot of music.
