I am creative, independent, and quirky.

My Self-Summary

I like to think I'm a pretty fun and laid back girl. I love trying and learning new things and am always up for a trip outside of my comfort zone.

I try to keep my life as "drama-free" as possible and can't stand overly dramatic people.

Art is a big part of my life and I'm constantly drawing and pushing my creative talents so if you're a fellow artsy person (whether you paint, draw, create music, write, do photography, whatever) we'll probably get along.

I also LOVE live music and spend the vast majority of my free time at concerts and checking out new bands.

I'm a total geek at heart and can keep up in conversations about pretty nerdy stuff - video games, superheroes, cartoons, computers, just try me!

I'm in to ALOT of different things, most of which would probably surprise you, but this allows me to find common ground with just about anyone. At times I'm a nerd, a hippie, a rocker chick, a punk, a goth, a cowgirl, a deviant, a goodie-two-shoes, an athlete, a freak - no reason to limit myself to just one stereotype, right?

What I’m doing with my life

I recently graduated from college and am now working as a graphic artist. Eventually I hope to get in to advertising and become an art director.

I’m really good at

I'd say I'm pretty good at drawing and graphic design. I'm not a bad cook either! Oh, and speaking with a fake British accent and being ridiculous and knowing what people are thinking and being low maintenance and finding the silver lining in almost any situation and picking up stuff with my feet.

The first things people usually notice about me

Apparently, my butt... but I'd like to say my eyes and smile are a close second :P

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books - Fight Club and Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk and just about anything else he writes. Also Animal Farm, The Sound and the Fury, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Macbeth

Movies - American Beauty, Fight Club, Sin City, anything Pixar, Pan's Labyrinth, Royal Tennenbaums, Shawshank Redemption, Stardust

Music - I have REALLY ecclectic musical tastes but typically listen to more rock and alternative than anything else. Love Blue October, 30 Seconds to Mars, Shiny Toy Guns, Snow Patrol, U2, Nine Inch Nails, Jason Mraz, Perfect Circle, Jeff Buckley, Guster, Muse, Maroon 5, Incubus, The Postal Service, Puscifer, Cowboy Mouth ... I'll stop before I get carried away

Food - Peanut butter! Seafood, sushi, and just about anything Italian. But I'm all about trying new and exotic foods.

The six things I could never do without

Family

Adventure

Music

Curiosity

Humor

Chapstick

I spend a lot of time thinking about

My future career plans, my family, art and concerts.

And what new recipe I want to try - lately I've REALLY gotten in to cooking, especially more ethnic foods like Thai, Indian and Greek.

On a typical Friday night I am

Taking in live music somewhere or relaxing at home with a good movie.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I still watch cartoons and color in coloring books :)
