My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I used to have a sense of humor, but I lost it in a tragic boating accident in '96. I love to be teased, and tease back. I've had to explain, on several occasions, that I was just kidding, or being sarcastic. Let me tell you; that's pretty crushing, emotionally. I love traveling, going to the gym, hiking, being a tourist in my own town, and I like to pretend I love to scuba dive and sail, because I'm certified/licensed to do both, but They both take so much time!.. So I don't get to do them much.

I'm a lawyer and I live and work in Koreatown. I've also been getting into real estate as a second career, and will likely move completely into that at some point.

Hablo espanol, y he vivido en Espana. Tengo ganas de conocer a alguien que me podria ayudar practicar la lengue atrevez de Ina cent... cafe... un camino... lo que sea.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now I am a Worker's Compensation lawyer with an LA firm.

I also have a fantasy in the back of my mind about one day owning/operating a restuarant/bar on the beach somewhere tropical.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Figuring out problems, big picture planning. I speak Spanish. I don't know that I'm "really good" at it, but I've always been proud of myself for learning it. A Spanish speaker would be a plus to meet, but by no means a requirement.

I don't know... weird thing to comment on :/
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Wow, this is a broad question! I like mostly history books. I love Martin Gilbert, Jared Diamond, Niall Ferguson. I like to read the Economist and Foreign Affairs and Perez Hilton.

Movies, hmm...: Anchorman, The Fog of War, Snatch, Goodfellas, World Trade Center, Man on Fire, Talladega Nights, City of God, Amores Perros, Memento, Boyz N the Hood, Milk, Friday, Antwone Fisher, the Agronomist, the Grocer's Son, the Men Who Stare at Goats.

TV: Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Justified, Shameless, Archer, Seinfeld, the Office, Louie, the Daily Show, the Colbert report, the Newsroom.

With music, I like just about everything, but I'm not really into any scenes, so I don't know the really esoteric hipster bands. My own music is mostly hip-hop and classic rock; Led Zepplin, the Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, Bruno Mars, Mars Volta, Kanye West, Nas, Mac Dre, Blacalicious, the Buena Vista Social Club, Sublime, Jimmy Hendricks... that's long enough.

For food, I like trying new restaurants I read about on yelp or in other print reviews. I live in Korea Town, and I do love Korean, but also Mexican, Middle Eastern, Japanese, Indian, Persian, Cuban, etc.. Now I'm hungry.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Good food. I like to eat out at real restaurants as frequently as possible.

Living close to work. Commuting is for suckers.

Southern California weather.

Stand-up comedy.

Dreams for the future.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Dreams about the future.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out with friends at a bar or restaurant, or relaxing at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I've never had a bowl of pho I enjoyed. This makes me sad.

I was also baptized in the Jordan River, literally. But I'm not religious.

You've never seriously considered killing a man in his sleep. You are somewhat active in the sense that you like to hike, camp, sail, whatever. Also, if you can discuss politics or history, and can locate France, China, Spain, Brazil, Japan, and India on a map, that would be a HUGE plus.
