My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm searching for a companion on this journey we call life. Isn't being with others part of the joy of a road trip?

I'm a city boy through and through. I'll take the option of having more than one place to shop over pastoral hills and farmland any day of the week. Though there are days when I do want to get away from it all, and country living has its perks.

Also, I changed my username! If you can tell me my old username, I'll give you $5 (eventually)!

I love having fun, but wait? Does anyone *hate* having fun? It's fun! Is there someone out there, who at the prospect of doing something they enjoy, shakes their fist at the heavens? Discuss.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work for a mortgage company. Thrilling, I know. I'm sure the details of my job would thrill you to your toes. See, I take mortgage documents and...oh, you're asleep already!

I have a degree in Marketing from UNT, and I'd love to do something with it someday.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Learning and memorization. Smart-making.

I used to create questions back when you could do that.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes and/or wit.

According to "personality" I used to be "worse mannered". Goodness, I hope people don't assume *that*. I guess it cleared up quickly? Heck if I know. I answered some questions well, I guess.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

A long list would bore you, so I'll give you some of my selections:

Book: The Complete World Knowledge Trilogy. Or maybe Emails from an Asshole, Cracked's book, or the Snark Handbook. John Dies at the End and This Book is Full of Spiders - Seriously Dude, Don't Touch It. Anything written by Cracked or one of its authors.

Movie: Forrest Gump, The Avengers, the Batman trilogy - well, most comic book movies, really - and any Pixar film. Up was the best, but also the saddest (the first five minutes is "aww...look how sweet they are...they love each other and...oh, she miscarried? Huh?"). I also love a good satire when it actually does its job of satirizing something well.

Show: The Simpsons, or Futurama. I don't watch that much TV, and I don't intend to say that in a superior way. Though lately I've found the Walking Dead appeals to me...

Music: Classic rock. Genesis, The Stones, The Beatles, Zep, Yes, Rush, Styx, The Doobie Brothers, and the list goes on. As for new stuff, I like Bastille, Cher Lloyd, Iggy Azalea, and Bruno Mars.

Food: Gnocchi (Italian potato dumplings) or Indian food (specifically Chicken Korma). What's your favorite Indian dish, ladies?

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why restaurants can't just put the info we want on their websites (e.g. menu, pricing, location, hours.)

What people did before Wikipedia when it came to questions of great import - you know, like the ones such as "what is (guy from band) doing now"?

How do people at the Daily Planet not realize that Clark Kent is Superman? He looks just like him and he's gotta be ripped, right?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Maybe drinking with friends, maybe watching Netflix. Maybe...maybe out on a date?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've had staples put in my head.

Also, I'm very, very mildly autistic. I'm reluctant to disclose this so early but I like being honest. Basically, think of it like this: if autism is like amputation what I have is like having a chunk of your pinky toe lopped off.

Also also, when I see someone on this site that I know IRL, I immediately go to their questions to see if the person they're pretending to be online is the person I know them as.

Here's the deal. I'd like to meet at some point. Obviously not right after we start messaging, but I don't wanna talk for months on end before we finally meet. So, if you're not ready to meet within, say, about a month, let's hope I *really* like you. :)
