I'm in some bands and I also have a job I enjoy. I love meeting
people and making friends. Movies and music are my favourite.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm trying to make the world a better place in my own little way.
I’m really good at
Making people feel comfortable and making people laugh. I wish I
was better at cooking, but, as a fortune cookie once taught me, "Be
content with your lot. One cannot be first in everything".
The first things people usually notice about me
My ability to sing while drumming! My quick wit and original jokes!
My willingness to say "yes" to most things. I'm quite thrifty but
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Eating is great! I'm not picky but I love curry the most. I like
documentaries, ted talks, and movies by Wes Anderson and the Coen
brothers. As for books I love J.D. Salinger, A.S. Byatt, and other
authors who's first names are two initials (except J.K.
Rowling....JK). Music?! Don't get me started! The Magnetic Fields,
Timber Timbre, and old time stuff; for local bands I like Shooting
Guns, Powder Blue, Six Moons Later, and my own bands, of course!
Television is probably my biggest guilty pleasure. I like Mad Men,
Bob's Burgers, RuPaul's Drag Race, and many shows that were
canceled after only one season, such as: Freaks & Geeks, My
So-Called-Life, and Firefly. Aside: I found Serenity to be fairly
The six things I could never do without
6) Tap water
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Politics, art, my band, my job, my city, and my friends.
On a typical Friday night I am
Going to see a live band, singing Karaoke, or watching a movie. I'm
also usually up for adventure!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't really know if I know what I'm looking for in a
relationship, or if I even really want one. It's way easier to be
able to tell what I don't want.
You should message me if
You'd like to meet me or want to ask questions about me, or about
life, or about yourself. I don't mind giving advice or insight on
just about anything. I will not respond to messages that only say
"hi", "hello", or "hey babe". Sorry, but that just does not do it
for me. Creativity and substance are necessities!
