My name is Elexis. I am the girl-next-door. I'm not shy, but I do tend to be quiet in the beginning. It isn't until I get to know that person that I open up more. Of course, it always depends on the connection.

I have this sarcastic humor. I go through lengths to make people laugh. All jokes aside, I do have a serious side. I'm a deep person. I'm very observant. There is so much to me and I'm hoping for someone special to share it with.

I'm very creative. I like to sketch people and draw cartoons. I write short stories, poetry, screenplays, and am working on a novel. Music is a way for me to escape. I listen to it often and it definitely makes me feel better during any event; good or bad.

I'm looking for someone that likes to have conversations both small and big. I am looking for someone that has humor, but can be serious when the occasion requires it. I'm looking for someone that is past the clubbing and bar scenes. I don't mind someone that likes it, but its just not "all" there is to do. I'm pretty toned down when it comes to those stuff. I am seeking someone that knows what they want in life and is confident in who they are. I have a 5 year old daughter. So, I am looking for a man that loves children and has patience.

I know this is cliche, but I am looking for someone that will complete me. I'm not looking to rush into a serious relationship in minutes. I'm looking to build something real into something incredible.

These are just qualities that I look for. I'm not going to run around with standards or a ridiculous list for what I am looking for. Its just something you know when you find it.

I'm not picky on music. If the lyrics are meaningful and the beat is good, I'm there. I'm not as crazy for Country music, but I do have some songs I do like.

I like all foods as long as its not raw. So, I'm not too picky and will most likely try almost anything once.

Where I am now in life and where I want to be.

I am at home with my daughter, spending time with her on a typical Friday night. I'm very family oriented. You will not find me in a club, bar, or a night out into town. If I were to go out for fun it would most likely be a movie, a restaurant, or a live event. Its not an every week thing, but I do go.

Its very hard finding love. I'm just looking for a good man. Not perfection. I'm just looking for something real. Someone that wants to get to know me is genuine about it.

You really want to get to know me and for the right reasons. I'm looking for something that has the possibility to become a serious relationship or just good friends. My philosophy is that you will never know by just turning the page unless you see for yourself.
