My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi! I'm a Business Applications programmer and technical support expert, and I travel a lot for work. For fun I play keyboards in a local band, ride motorcycle and fly airplanes.

I've never been married, and have no children.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working my day job (programming and technical support); several projects around the house; deck, landscaping, wiring and plumbing; more upgrades planned. Doing the occasional weekend warrior thing with the band.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
My job; I've been programming for many years. I must be OK at flying the airplane (otherwise I'd be barbequed in a smoking hole in the ground). I ride motorcycle, too, and haven't broken any bones. And I'm not bad on keyboards and guitars. I can build or fix almost anything.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The intensity. Typically calm and quiet, but you can tell there's a lot going on inside. People act surprised when I can intelligently discuss anything from politics to nuclear physics (maybe it's the long hair, but I'm wearing it shorter for the summer). It used to surprise me that so few other people can, but that's something I've been getting accustomed to.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
(a) "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand; "Cosmos" by Carl Sagan (light reading, but so well written; RIP Carl); "Good to be King" by Michael Badnarik; "The Anarchist Cookbook"; and anything by Stephen Hawking.

(b) "Serenity" was excellent; "Spaceballs" (Earth Humor; R R R)

(c) Yes; Pink Floyd; Emerson, Lake and Palmer; Rush; Led Zeppelin

(d) I like all kinds of foods.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The Airplane, my Motorcycle, my Car, my Keyboards, one good Woman, and a place in the universe. That's not necessarily in order of priorities.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
*WAY* too much stuff... I like the airplane cause it forces me to concentrate on the task at hand (flying the plane), because not doing so can be catastrophic. Same with the motorcycle.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either with the band or watching "Doctor Who" ;^)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Come on - I know better than to publish anything *private* on the Internet. ;-) If there's anything you want to know, you'll just have to ask.
