My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I try to live life with a strong (and dry) sense of humor, ready sarcasm, and the realization every day is a challenge and that's OK.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just did the whole, "man, i'm 30--what am I doing with my life?!" With being a wino looking unlikely (kept forgetting to buy more wine. So here I am. "This is your life, good to the last drop". Now I'm "establishing work\life balance", setting goals, and picking a different direction to point myself.

Fitness and health--I work in a very sedentary career field (IT). I see a personal trainer and drag myself to the gym as often as I can stand. I believe in moderation in all things, though--even moderation. Life is not worth living without pizza and beer. However, the body has to be cared for and I'm looking for a partner that appreciates that.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making jokes (at questionable times--but hey, I'll take laughter over tears) Massages, cuddling, being awkward, looking serious, getting worked up, being supremely nerdy. Solving complex problems in a simple way and solving simple problems in a complex way. Being kinky.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My curly hair (though currently in business-mode) and glasses; how ADHD I am. I really can't sit still.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Catch-22, The Hitchhiker's Guide To the Galaxy, Kafka on the Shore, I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, Choke...

Movies: Fanny och Alexander, Breakfast Club, Quills, Boondock Saints, But I'm a Cheerleader, Taxi Driver, Requiem for a Dream, Tank Girl, Barton Fink, most Leslie Neilson movies, and any Sci-fi epic, documentaries...

Archer, Battlestar Galactica, most Star Treks, Better off Ted, Dead like Me...Xena: Warrior Princess?

Music: pretty much anything. I usually listen to music at work, when working out, and when walking around . I think listing a bunch of bands out is kinda dumb, sorry.

Food: Italian and Thai: my body is probably about 80% pasta.
I'm vegetarian and have been since birth--except for the occasional and accidental pepperoni hiding in cheese pizza.
Food Update: It turns out I really like smoothies.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. A Sense of Humor.
2. The Internet.
3. Diet soda.kicked this habit.
4. Perspective.
5. Imagination.
6. Hope for the Human Race....more of a wishlist-type item :/
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How much how you think about something influences 'reality'.

"...the problem is your attitude about the problem." - Captain Jack Sparrow.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm pretty tame at this point in life. I don't drink that often anymore and have lost the stomach for it. On most Fridays, I head to Laughing Planet or a McMenamins to meet friends then we usually nerd out. Like serious.
Definitely not a 'club'-type person.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When I was a kid, I used to have a sweet fireman's hat (complete with siren noise and rotating light). In the day, I was known to wear nothing but that hat. I guess that's not very private as I was quite bold as a child and would often make trips out the front door so equipped.

My Portland Sins:
1. I don't own a bike.
2. I'm not very cool.
3. I don't have vinyl records.
4. I don't have tight pants.
5. The last time I moved, 3/4ths of my boxes were books. I only buy ebooks now and am donating the rest of my physical library. Sorry, books.

You're a nerd or nerd-curious. It's OK. We're nice.

You're a nonsmoker, or at least very rarely smoke. It's gross, and bad for you. Only choose activities that are one or the other, if you please.
