Before I became a Librarian, I went to school for art. I'm a sculptor and art historian. When I sculpt, I like to work in stone.
I like power tools, nerds and leather jackets.

I like a lot of things that are considered nerdy like comic books, video games and science fiction, but I like other stuff too. I like to think my interests are balanced.

oh yeah, and I'm a smart-ass, but I try not to be mean about it. I'm usually nice until I know people can take it.

movies: Matrix, I,Robot, Toys, Mirrormask, Charlie's Angels, Empire Records, Hackers, thoroughly Modern Millie, anything with Jackie Chan (seriously, I watched Cannonball Run again because he was in it,) anything really, except I'm not a big horror fan.

music: Imogen Heap, Keane, Weird Al, Blink-182, The Cure, The Smiths, They Might Be Giants, Nine Inch Nails, Otis Redding, Blondie, Abba, Blue October, Damien Rice, Nickle Creek, The Weepies, Patsy Cline, Don McLean, The Moody Blues, everything from standards to industrial (without the gangsta rap and gospel.)

food: cheeseburgers, Pizza, sushi, Chinese, breakfast, anything I don't have to cook (I can cook, and sometimes I actually enjoy it.)
