I find it hard to summarize myself. I'm an eclectic individual. I don't fit into categories. At least I'd like to think I don't. I'm a generally accepting person. I like all kinds of music and movies. I like all kinds of people, for different reasons.

One personality test described me as formal, flow-with. With means i'm analytical but not forceful? Make any sense? It did to me. I am a sociologist at heart, but I just could do it formally. I love the way history, politics, and sociology are all interconnected. I'm very likely a socialist as well, but I think capitalism has a few good features.

I voted for Barack Obama. I believe that all people deserve to be treated equally. Including gays, women, and any other minority you can think of. I am a firm believer in science and the scientific method. I'm not sure if I believe in God. I DON'T believe in Scientology or Mormonism.

I play games. Not head games, I do my best to be honest with everyone. I play card games, board games, video games, and roleplaying games. I have a Wii, so I can play old Legend of Zelda games and Donkey Kong Country. I prefer tactical RPGs for my computer, like Civilization. I play Dungeons and Dragons, and a Live Action Roleplaying Game called NERO.

I finally stopped fooling around at Walmart and went back to school. College and I have a storied past. I have an A.S. with an emphasis in Business Administration. I don't like business. I worked full time at Walmart. For a while i wanted to be a manager. I was an hourly supervisor for a year before I realized that I do not have the kissing up abilities required to advance any further.

This semester I finally got my head together. I quit my job at Walmart and I'm back in college. I'm doing my prerequisite work to apply to pharmacy school.

I'd like to think a lot of things!
I'm a great listener. I'm a good empathizer. I love to talk about anything. I'll ramble, it happens. I'm good at learning. I think I'm good at explaining, but there is some disagreement here. I'm good at fitting in, usually. I have a knack for making parents like me. I'm great with kids.

The way I hear it.
I either come off as an asshole or stuck up. It's not true, but I come off that way cause I'm shy.

I have been known to come off as a dork or a geek. This is true, but its rare that I let people I just meet know.

My favorite books: Fantasy Genre. Authors: Tolkien, Gookind, Jordan, Hayden, Brooks. I love to read anything usually, but fantasy is my favorite.

Favorite Movies: I have a catchall answer, Braveheart. It really depends on my mood though. I love Shawshank Redemption, V for Vendetta, Waiting..., Animal House, Everything to do with Mel Brooks, and the list goes on forever.

Favorite Music: My favorite band is Aerosmith. I love classic rock, Hip-Hop, Rap, Folk Music, Showtunes, pretty much everything. I have a short list of dislikes, but even they are not absolute. I dislike punk, emo, and twangy country.

Favorite Food: Asian. I love white rice, sushi, noodles, etc. If it's Asian, chances are I'll eat it.

Beyond the basics? I'm pretty adaptable.

If it's a NERO weekend. I'm at NERO. Otherwise i'm sudsing. I'm not much of a partier. I'd rather have a quiet night at home. I'm not saying parties are not fun, I do go sometimes. Not to mention I don't really know many people here at SIUe yet.

I'm more materialistic than I would like.
