Well, for starters, I'm totally rubbish at writing things like this! I should probably mention first off that I am in a rather kinky poly relationship at the moment but for various reasons I am also still looking for someone else. If you want more details, feel free to ask me; I'm more than happy to explain at length!

I just finished a not entirely satisfactory degree at Derby University, and I'm now doing loads of overtime at my part time job while I look for a proper job. I also do semi-regular theatre stuff (mostly making costumes, though I co-wrote a script for a play we did last summer, and I can be persuaded to act if absolutely necessary), and I've just started writing a novel!

Writing... I hope! (since I do a lot of it) Baking, um.... sewing whilst seriously sleep deprived. I'm good at learning how to do things, but I get bored easily once I've got the hang of something, so I have tonnes of random skills, but I'm not particularly amazing at any one thing.

I'm a bit odd.... Also I apparently have a weird accent, since people are always asking where I'm from. It's Birmingham, by the way, but I don't have a brummie accent.

Ok, I'm kinda mad about reading, so listing my favourite books would take pretty much forever, so here are my favourite authors instead; Anne McCaffrey, Mercedes Lackey, Robin McKinley, Spider Robinson, Eva Ibbotsen, Kristen Cashore and Donald Kingsbury (and anyone who gets what my name is a reference from gets mega awesome points). If you recognise any of those names it will probably be pretty obvious that I'm a big fan of science fiction and fantasy.

Favourite movies - I have a bit of a weakness for 80s films, so The Princess Bride, The Lost Boys, and The Breakfast Club are amongst my favourites. I also love Serenity, being a die-hard Joss Whedon fan.

As for music, I have rather eclectic tastes, including (but not limited to) folk, rock, metal, and various combinations of the above. Some of my favourite bands are Fairport Convention, Blue October, Cake, Inme... I'm sure there's more terribly important ones but my mind has just gone embarassingly blank.

I like a lot of food, and I absolutely love cooking. Particularly cakes.

Mascarpone, my Ipod, my laptop, cats, a regular supply of new books, chocolate.

Really really random stuff. Mostly at the moment it's christmas presents; I really love buying people presents!

Ok then, I'll admit it. I usually spent Friday nights playing computer games and going to bed early. In my defense, I work on Saturdays!
