My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Lover of all things pizza/Logistics manager/theatre tech director (surprise! Ask me about this one)/prospective grad school student/foodie

ISTJ

Likes piña coladas; getting caught in the rain, not so much.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to figure out what to do with an affinity for technology, English, and the stage. I don't exactly know how you spin that into a career, but exploring the possibilities sounds pretty fun!

Just started applying to grad schools, and I'm pretty jazzed about it. For the first time in a long time, I don't have a completely clear view as to what the destination is—and I'm shockingly all right with and excited by that.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Food! I'm pretty fearless in the kitchen. Hospitality is kind of my thing. I'd like to think that I'm fiercely loyal and go out of my way to keep my word. Beyond that... lighting design. Being opinionated, but not in the Rosie O'Donnell way. Conversation is always fun!

I think I'm good at a lot of things. Clearly, self-marketing isn't one of those things!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My quirky, slightly self-deprecating sense of humour, followed by a personal style that looks like Cary Grant but acts with all the physical grace of a drunk football player.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

This is never gonna be a definitive list... Partly because I promise it will change often, and otherwise because I think getting to know a person's tastes and preferences is fun. But this might at least give you an idea.

I don't love TV, but on the rare occasion that it's turned on I'll probably be watching something like Sherlock. As far as literature is concerned, I have a soft spot for classics like To Kill a Mockingbird—but more recent favorites include A Single Man. I'll watch The Shawshank Redemption absolutely every time I come across it on TV. Trying to describe my taste in music is like trying to nail jello to a wall—all bets are off! When it comes to food, French and Italian are my favorites, but I'll try almost anything.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-The awesome people in my life
-A decent kitchen knife
-A good pillow or ten
-Literature
-Music
-The occasional quiet night at home

....and hot cocoa. Cocoa makes everything better.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Thinks that make people great. Things that make people intolerable. I spend a lot of time just wondering about how life works in general. Technology takes up a big chunk of my time... As does stage.

And for better or worse, I find that I'm just a sentimental fool, sometimes.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
doing absolutely anything/everything. I could be having a party. Or seeing a show. Or I could be working on a show. Or I could be working, not on a show. Or out to dinner/a movie/wherever/whatever with friends.

Fridays are never typical!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I HATE peanut butter, unless it's paired with chocolate.

Here's another: I work for a large technology company, but if I write anything important, it always starts on a typewriter.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
you want to tell me about something amazing you're doing to make the world a better place... and if you think there's anything I can do to help you get there.

Or if I look at your profile a few times without messaging you.

This doesn't have to end in a romantic relationship—I'm up for friends, too.
