My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Part dreamer, part realist, and altogether quite impossible to describe.

I'm about as random as it gets, and I like to think that I'm wayyyy more than I can describe here. So... Message me, and find out more!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Past: Tech company policy analyst, college student

Present: Tech company support administrator, miscellaneous theatre-technician-lighting-designer-do-what-needs-to-be-done-guy (so says the business card?)

Future: Grad School? Technical writer? Theatre technician? All to be determined. Probably some sort of blend of all of these.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
not talking about myself. Bear with me, this is difficult!

I always keep my word... And I make up for those instances when I can't. I'm painstakingly loyal.

I'm a pretty good cook! And I'm great at finding the absurd in whatever situation, and then laughing about it. Master of calculus and other number-type things.

(...ok, so maybe not that last one.)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Most of the time, that I'm a really nice guy! ...With some really corny jokes that I hope are more endearing than off-putting.

A friend said to me: 'You're... English! Without the accent.' I guess people notice my English-ness... Whatever that means. I haven't quite figured it out yet, but I hope it's a good thing...?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Get ready...

Sherlock, Are You Being Served, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, anything on the Food network, almost anything on HGTV

Favorite Books:
To Kill a Mockingbird, A Single Man, The Catcher in the Rye, Of Mice and Men, The Great Gatsby, And Then There Were None, Lord of the Flies

The Shawshank Redemption, A Few Good Men, Vertigo, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest... old or new, if it has a good story, I'm in.

Music: almost anything, from Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra to Brand New, with maybe a side trip to almost anything out of the Motown era... there's a lot.

Once, [bare], Doubt: A Parable, Arsenic and Old Lace, A Few Good Men, any cheesy classic written by Neil Simon (e.g. Barefoot in the Park)

French and Italian are my favorites, but I'll try almost anything. One of the best meals I ever had was at a Burmese restaurant in San Francisco called 'Mandalay'... look it up if you're ever there.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-The awesome people in my life
-A decent kitchen knife
-A good pillow or ten
-The occasional quiet night at home

....and hot cocoa. Cocoa makes everything better.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Living wholly in the present with an eye on the future. The past deserves a passing nod, for sure, but I can never go back there—so it doesn't makes sense for my mind to dwell there.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
doing absolutely anything/everything. I could be having a party. Or seeing a show. Or I could be working on a show. Or I could be working, not on a show. Or out to dinner/a movie/wherever/whatever with friends.

Fridays are never typical!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I HATE peanut butter, unless it's paired with chocolate.

Here's another: I work for a large technology company, but if I write anything important, it always starts on a typewriter.
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like guys
  • Ages 20–25
  • Near me
  • For new friends, short-term dating
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
you want to tell me about something amazing you're doing to make the world a better place... and if you think there's anything I can do to help you get there.

Or if I look at your profile a few times without messaging you.

This doesn't have to end in a romantic relationship—I'm up for friends, too.
