I am spritely, moody, and a faerie princess.
My Self-Summary
Hello crazy internet dating site world! I still don't quite know
what to think of you... But here I am.
Ummmm.... I'm shy and awkward, but social. Most of my friends might
laugh at the shy statement, claiming I'm the opposite, but that's
only once I'm comfortable. Half the time I'm buzzing around doing
every activity I can, the other half I hide myself away and game or
read. I also hang on to details, yet I'm incredibly spacey. (I was
supposed to be WHERE?!) Eh. Oh, and I fall down a lot, but I've
gotten really good at not injuring myself too badly when it
happens, and laughing at it a lot. - Edit: except for recently... I
just broke my ankle and now have a metal plate with 7 screws in my
leg.
I'm a nerd. I loooove to
read, and I know tons of seemingly useless
facts. I'm a medieval recreator with the
Society for
Creative Anachronism. I like to get
pierced. I want more
tattoos. I like to
cook for other people. I enjoy
sewing my own
clothing. I love camping and enjoying our beautiful weird world. I
also love to
sing,
but I don't always have an outlet for it. Oh yeah, and I also like
to spaz out on the dance floor.
Doesn't quite sum it up, but I made an effort. Go me.
What I’m doing with my life
Working and crafting. Hopefully I'll be going back to school soon
as well, so that I can be back on my way to becoming a special ed
teacher. I'm also plotting to start a business with my dad... we'll
see how that goes, but I'm excited!
I'm also trying to get back into my music. I'm finally starting to
write some again, so if anyone needs a vocalist, let me know!
I’m really good at
Falling on my ass. Singing. Cooking. Making stuff.
The first things people usually notice about me
The red hair. Either that, or that I'm a klutz.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: Too many to count!!! I love Madeline L'Engle, E.A. Poe,
Kurt
Vonnegut, and many more that I can't think of at the moment.
The Hitchhiker's Guide series, Photographing Fairies, Crown/Court
Duel, Jane Eyre, Dune, and yes, even Harry Potter. I'll read pretty
much any fiction that isn't straight up romance. Oooh oooh, and
manga! I won't list all the manga I like... oooh, and I love Johnny
the Homicidal Maniac and the cutest little dead girl in the whole
world, Lenore. (sorry if my sentences got a little rambly and
incoherent... that happens when I get excited...)
Movies: just a few favorites... Photographing Fairies, Repo!, Aimee
and Jaguar, Mirrormask, The Fifth Element, But I'm a Cheerleader,
Juno, Amelie, The Princess Bride, Pan's Labyrinth, Secretary,
Howl's Moving Castle, Boondock Saints... and that will do to
start.
Music: I like all sorts. Blues, techno (of all types), swing, folk,
rock (of all types), some jazz, bluegrass, classical, industrial,
medieval, punk... yeah, that's mostly it. I like bits and pieces of
other sorts as well, but not as much.
Food: I like to cook more than I eat. I'm a very picky eater, but I
like turning my friends into guinea pigs whenever I find a recipe I
want to try or a new flavor combination I've come up with. Don't
worry, nobody's died yet!
The six things I could never do without
crafting materials
books
someone to talk to
fresh air
music
...and the general essentials for life, of course.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How I'm ever going to finish school. The craziness of living with 9
people and 14 animals not including fish. Why I love living with
that craziness. Dumb guys and psychotic women. Bonobos. What book
I'm going to read next. Why there's a banana costume in the living
room. Life, the universe, and everything.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working, sewing, and possibly dancing like a maniac. Otherwise, at
some SCA event.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I don't shave my legs. It's not some sort of feminist statement, or
personal rebellion or anything... The hair on my legs is just so
fine and blonde, that you can hardly see it anyways. So I figure,
what's the point? Plus, I never have to worry about scratching
someone with stubble...
You should message me if
* You have something ELSE to say beyond "You're cute," or some crap
of that sort.
* You have more than 50 Pez dispensers.
* You're in the SCA
.... Oh, and I usually don't respond to IMs... the mailbox messages
are a much safer bet, although I'm sometimes bad about those as
well, just because I'm a space cadet and forget.
