I love to read and may the gods help you if you try to interfer
while I am doing so. *grins* I love to cook, just need the excuse.
I am a Goth, or something similar anyway. I am a witch, my path is
my own thing so I try not to let people confuse me with something I
am not. I like going out to clubs sometimes. Well select few
really, the ones that throb with nice industrial dark type music,
where people dance around in corsets, eyeliner and fishnet, etc
etc...
I lead a relatively quiet life, I read, cook, hang out with
friends, curl up with my cat, watch anime and NCIS and have random
bursts of lots of activity..going out to clubs and events, or
creative or spiritual pursuits.
I am weird and quiet and a lil dark, but also sweet and fierce and
funny.
I am not skinny and never will be, I am not huge and I am working
on trimming down, for me, not you.
Those I love, I love absolutely, and those I do not..I simply do
not.
I like to talk and laugh and be relaxed, I am a lil messy and
scattered but very smart.

What I'm doing with my life
At the moment I am researching schools to go back to graduate
school, which is bound to make my life a good deal busier between
work and school but I think the end result will be worth it. And,
studying for the GRE..again. Damn that five year rule. Hehe

Movies....
I like horror movies that involve the supernatural or ones that scare you because of the setting and music and twisting, creepy plot. I am not so much into your run of the mill psycho bot/hacker slasher flick, they are just good for egregious amounts of blood and gore and that is just not all that interesting to watch.
I suppose some of my favorite movies would be Underworld, Matrix, Mirrormask, Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Samurai X, The Fifth Element, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Kungfu Zombies (its so bad its good), The Crow, Ella Enchanted, From Hell, Dracula, Gothic, Mr, Magorium's Wonder Emporium, Like Water for Chocolate, Chocolat, Phantom of the Opera, Attila, Dear Frankie, Dead Again, The Postman, Everafter, 10th Kingdom, Rurouni Kenshin, Bleach, Inuyasha, Trinity Blood, Blood+, I think that will do for now
Music, like I said above, that good dark industrial stuff, and celtic, and classical and whatever else catches my particular fancy

I haven't quite figured out why OKCupid has tagged me with some of the little icons that they have. I am actually very giving, it gets me into trouble sometimes, I try to stretch farther than I can really reach. Though I guess I am pretty dorky sometimes, so that's acceptable. Kinky, yeah, that too.
Politically, more middle of the road than republican. I totally don't get the less socially free thing. I am pretty live and let live, if it makes ya happy and its not hurting anyone by all means, have at.
And, while I have my moments of pessimism, I prefer to be hopeful about things, afterall if you aren't, what would be the point of continuing to try?

Sometimes I am out at a club or movie. Others I am just hanging out
with friends at my home or their home as the case may be. Many a
friday night I am playing recluse and curled up at home reading,
cooking, working or sleeping.
