student of educational sciences - nearly done after only 8 years :-) very bookish, though i haven't read anything just for fun lately, since i have to concentrate on my thesis.
kind of ambivalent personality: outgoing but sometimes shy, self-conscious and self-confident, intuitive and thoughtful of others but with a lack of empathy at other times. i can spend 2 weeks in a row with friends or family, only to lock me up one week later without feeling the need to see anyone for a month. very blunt (people don't always like that). i don't warm up easily and loathe hugging and kissing people of shallow acquaintance, therefor some people think i'm cold or arrogant.
very important: i love to laugh - and do so quite often and quite loud. and i do laugh about nearly everything. i don't care, if it's misogynic or racist or animal-abusing - as long as it's got a good punch line.

wish i knew the answer to that one!

cooking: no idea why, never learned it, but i'm a master of seasoning. somehow i always know what to put into a dish to make it really good.
dancing: give me three bottles of beer and i am unable to stop.

guys usually say "eyes" ("because they're soo blue") - but i sometimes suspect, that is just something, they think girls like to hear.
other: my ass when dancing (to quote my brother-in-law: "bastante rapido")
if i give people the chance to know me a bit better (only when they didn't respond to my eyes or butt *lol*), it's my dry sense of humour they notice. and that i'm a little miss know-it-all (can't help it, i'm always right)

books: Terry Pratchett, Walter Moers, John Irving, Umberto Eco, Erich Kaestner, Oscar Wilde, William Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Elizabeth Gaskell, Chuck Pahlaniuk, Harry Mulisch and many many many more
when looking around just now, i find: Charles Baudelaire - The Flowers of Evil, David Foster Wallace - Little Girl with Curious Hair, Salman Rushdie - Midnight Children and lots of books on adults' learning problems (for my thesis)
movies: i really watch everything. i mean it. i do not know how to select - if it's moving, i have to watch it.
music: rock, punk, ska, rock 'n' roll, irish folk, gypsy - basically everything that requires a certain degree of handcraft and artisanry with instruments. can't stand the daily turn-on-your-radio-and-everything-sounds-the-same. favorites: Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, Kings of Nuthin, Less than Jake, Kaizers Orchestra, Dresden Dolls, Rainald Grebe, Muse, Mutabor, Tenacious D, Maximo Park, The Doors, Queen, Ton Steine Scherben, Animals, and many more
food: Thai, Indian, Pizza, Pasta, Paella, Vegetables (if properly seasoned) Fast Food, German traditional food (basically that means a lot of meat, yummy), good bread (sorry, but basically that means German bread) - almost everything as long as it's fairly flavoured (spicy!)
okay i do love chocolate as well. so what? i'm a girl. i consider chocolate as a constitutional right.

3. my bed: seems stupid, but i really really really enjoy spending whole days in bed, doing nothing, just sleeping, dreaming, reading, thinking

4. food: okay that seems a bit pragmatic (so am i), but cooking and eating (better: feasting) are passions
5. my baby: my laptop, because it provides me with music, films and information
6. trees and grass and wind and the moon

to specify: i can't spend a lot of time on one particular thing. when i think about something, suddenly something related comes to my mind and then i have to think about that one. my mind is a bit jumpy, so it's hard for me to concentrate. (sometimes, that doesn't make me a good listener, but i'm trying hard to focus. i promise.)

hopefully visiting a concert. live music is just the best. if a band sucks live, there's no need to listen to them. anyway, if there's no gig nearby, i'm also willing to visit a pub or some friends. if you look hard enough you'll always find someone willing to throw a party.

just try asking something and you'll see if i'm willing to answer.

i'm not really into dating. i don't like the whole concept of dating. i prefer learning to know people in a more casual way, without all these expectations. if we get along, i would'nt rule it out, but that's not what i'm looking for in the first place.
