I am enthusiastic, entertaining, and ambitious.
My Self-Summary
I am fun to get to know, and open up more when people take the time
to know me. I am positive and plesant. I like to laugh and think
laughter is important in life. I don't like to shop, and would
rather hang out in sweatpants and hoodies watching a good movie, or
working on something.
On the other side of the laid-back description of myself above, I
hold very high expectations for myself and those around me. Some of
my goals include learning guitar, becoming more comfortable with
German and Spanish, and planning/organizing my time better. I enjoy
working and fill my time right now with waitressing. It gets me out
of the house.
My
friends and
family mean a lot
to me. I also enjoy
learning and think is is part of my
goal for self improvement.
What I’m doing with my life
I just graduated from Mt. Mary College with my certification for
music education along with a minor in History. I already held my BA
in Music and a minor in Religious Studies from Lawrence University.
I live in a home and occationally dog sit.
My goal since I have been little has been to graduate school, get a
job, a house, a dog, a bike, and then a boyfriend, in that order. I
have come to realize that changing the order is not necessarily a
bad thing.
I am teaching music in a small school district in Wisconsin. I also
waitress to keep busy and out of trouble. I am starting to explore
Astrology and Gemology. I'm new with it, and trying to find an
explanation to life; It might have an answer.
I’m really good at
I am a bit cynical, but think it is funny. I am good with people
and have high
expectations. I sympathize and
understand people. I am good at sarcasm. I can sing very well, but
get embarrassed about it.
I can be very good at being judgemental.
The first things people usually notice about me
People first notice how loud I am, my smile, and my eyes. I am loud
in
personality
and in volume. I feel that if I am smiling it really should mean
something and not be fake. Also, I have green eyes, and I think it
is my best feature.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I like to read and my collections include some classic novels,
Harry Potter,
Dan Brown, Christy, Twlight, and books about Russian History.
Right now I am in the process of reading LOTR.
I like many movies with different styles. The top of each category
are 50 First Dates, Snow White, Seven, Schindlers List, Forest
Gump, Harry Potter(s), SLC Punk, The Proposal, P.S. I love you, The
Notebook, and Sleeping Beauty, She's All That, and Fern Gully.
There are more, but I can't list all of them here.
Though there is not a category for TV shows, I do occasionally
watch anything on the food network, The Learning Channel, or the
History Channel, House, Charmed, Angel, and Buffy. I like watching
the shows that are not real or something I can learn from.
I am a music teacher, so I am not opposed to any music, and really
appreciate all types of music. At any given time I could be
listening to the Boston Pops, Mariah Carey, J5, Billy Joel, Pearl
Jam, or CCR. I know way too many Oldies songs, but don't know much
of anything about the artists.
I like trying new foods as long as I know what is in the new food I
am trying. If I know people have been able to survive on this food
before I am more likely to eat it. I like to make comfort foods in
large quantities. Some of my specialties right now involve soups,
Italian, German, and anything random I find in the fridge.
The six things I could never do without
Things I could not do without, in no particular order: memories,
people, music, my computer, laughter and _____.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why Kermit has a problem being green?
What religion is the right one?
How some people can be born with such natural talents, and others
are born struggling throughout life?
Are looks everything?
How to categorize my life and different aspects of it.
If I would be reincarnated as a dog.
On a typical Friday night I am
Organizing an outing with friends,
sleeping, working, watching a movie. It
depends on the type of week I have had, and who is around.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I am jealous of a dog's life and the simplicity of it.
You should message me if
You are interested in someone who is more than "cute", and can
carry on a conversation. I think there is a certain level of
respect that comes with messaging people. If you want me to respond
please use something resembling the English language. An occational
spelling or grammatical error can be tolerated.
