Let me start by saying that if you're looking for a date, you should look elsewhere; I'm in a great relationship.
I am congenial, pensive, and fun-loving. I love literature, rock and (some) metal music, video games, and anime. Some things that my friends say they like about me are my sense of humor and capacity for empathy. My best friend is timelessness, with zztzed coming in at a close second, probably only because I've known the first friend for longer.
I'm also a vegetarian, but not the preachy self-righteous kind.

I'm one giant contradiction. One minute I'm being nice and buying my friend a meal and the next I'm cynically ranting about how insipid commercials are trying to shamelessly manipulate us. A lot of the things I enjoy seem hilariously incongruent when mentioned in the same breath.
I love my cat and frequently speak to her in embarassing baby-talk. I know this is ridiculous, but I do it anyway because I love animals.
I'm pretty outgoing...a little too outgoing, in the sense that I often don't think about the shit I say before it erupts from my mouth (for example, I curse a lot and I have a semi-offensive take on jokes, which others don't always care for). I'm also known to be overly forward and share personal information way too freely with people; it's occassionally off-putting, but I'm pretty good at recognizing when I've made someone uncomfortable, so I usually apologize right away and then try to take better care with my words from that point.
For the most part, I'm just someone who likes to discuss the absurdities of modern life, drink a beer, and laugh at horribly stupid-ass puns.

I live in South Carolina, and I work in a call center (i.e. boring corporate job). I have a BA in English and intend to go to grad school at some point to study creative writing.

If my hair isn't some weird color (most recently blue), they probably notice my glasses or my nose ring.

Usually I'm calling a friend to come over and play Wii or go out to eat or something. I don't know. Sometimes I just watch reruns of Supernatural and play Skyrim.
