I just got through watching "Sunshine." I highly recommend it.

I haven't seen "Slumdog Millionaire" but I bet it is as awesome as all of the other Boyle flicks I've seen.

There's always this affirmation of life in his movies. You feel happy, alive, and happy to be alive after watching a Boyle flick.

I didn't much like "The Beach" though. In grand scheme of things there's bound to be something you don't like. Like the first Radiohead album or something.

I want to shave my head. Not cue ball or anything. I'm not making any kind of statement or trying to get attention. I just want to make a clean slate with my hair. I would like to know what it feels like to have all of my hair the same length and see what it looks like as it grows. Plus there's a wig aspect to it - I could buy a bunch of wigs and have a new hairstyle everyday. The biggest determining factor here is that fact my hair is really getting on my nerves lately. It keeps getting all up in my face like some bitch I can't stand. I don't even care about dating right now which is all the more reason to do it. The only downside is where I live I'm going to get "DYKE!" shouted at me which is never a good thing. I don't leave the house that much though so it's low risk thing at this moment.

So I've been on a weird sleep schedule (as usual). I had this dream about my father and I living in the middle of the country side rows of corn behind the house and tall grass for acres in front of the house. There were maybe three houses on the entire road. The house was white and had a basement. The overall feeling of the dream was that I was in a new place and tomorrow was unknown. I had the same feeling when my dad quit the job that landed us here. So this morning my dad tells me that he may loose his job today and that others in the office are getting the can. I spent the rest of the day in suspense because that dream had set the mood of change in me. I went to sleep and when awoke he was home and still had his job; for how much longer, I have no idea. I have the feeling that I won't be living here this time next year or maybe even in the next six months. I'm am ready to be detached from this town. It will be sad but comforting when that happens.
