My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a bit of a geek, but without most of the negative social connotations that go with that description (yes, I am able to talk to people and I do bathe).

Update: I'm currently in a relationship.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm trying to get more physically fit and to enjoy the outdoors.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Understanding complicated subjects, given time to study it, then explaining it to other people.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm very easy going
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Of the books I've read in the last few years, my favorite is probably The Dresden Files series. I did enjoy The Hunger Games trilogy as well. I recently started reading Game of Thrones and have enjoyed that so far.

Movies: Office Space, The Matrix, Monty Python's Holy Grail and The Life of Brian, the new Batman movies, Shawn of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The Life Aquatic, Lost in Translation

As for shows, I would say The Daily Show and The Colbert Report.
Others include Community, Parks and Recreation, The Office, Seinfeld, IT Crowd, X-Files, Stargate SG1 (or Atlantis), Mr. Show, Monty Python's Flying Circus, Arrested Development, Futurama, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones

Music: Beck, Pink Floyd, Cake, Cat Stevens, CCR, David Bowie, Queen, Queens of the Stone Age, Fiona Apple, Flogging Molly, Foo Fighters, Gary Jules, Gorillaz, Paul Simon, Pomplamoose, R.E.M., Tenacious D, White Stripes, Weezer
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friends
Board Games
Technology in various forms (since I wouldn't have a job without it)
Books
The news
The internet (I know, kind of cheating to include this as a separate entry)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
too many things to name. I enjoy learning about new things, but I rarely settle on just one topic/area of knowledge. In the past this has included things like physics and chess (like I said, I am a geek), and this fall I will start studying for a series of tests that should move my career forward.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Reading, catching up on Colbert/Daily Show, hanging out with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I sing along to music in my car.
