Ok, about me... I grew up in Indiana but have lived in many different areas of the country. I love the thrill of being in an unfamiliar place and as a result have moved around alot. I've had the chance to explore different parts of the country, meet new people and do things I wouldn't normally have a chance to do. I did Americorps in the souhteastern US. Some of my greatest memories and life lessons were learned in that single year. I did things like working with the elderly, building and deconstructing homes for Habitat and the UMRC, removal of invasive plants in a Florida swamp (got to swim with gators!), disaster relief with Red Cross, trail building and mentoring terminally ill children. I'm not a total tree hugger or anything though. I love to drive my car too fast (no its not a hybrid) and I enjoy long showers.

Being outside is awesome when the weather allows although a nice run through a steady warm rain kicks ass too! I prefer hanging out at smaller bars and having a beer as opposed to the loud booty bars that my friends and I frequented in college.

My friends would say I am very loyal and a great listener. I'm not overly picky with pre- req's of qualities in the guys I date. I'm attracted to many different types. If theres any type of attraction I'm not afraid to act on it although I can also be pretty shy if I really like someone.

I continue to volunteer when I can and believe me I have some pretty funny stories from it all! Down the road I want to join the Peace Corps and do environmental work in another country. Work has kept me very busy in the last year. As far as my carrer goes... a few co-workers and I built a search engine for our large finance company and recently finished and presented it to our corporate office. I'm pretty driven to succeed at work. I love to travel and recently went to Portland, OR and the surrounding areas. Saw a few volcanoes, loads of waterfalls and the salmon ladders on the Columbia River.

Photogrpahy. It was what I studied through college and I continue to take photos when I can.

This is always so hard... I love the author Bill Bryson. He writes books about his travels and they're always hilarious! I'm not a huge movie fan because I'm not good at sitting still for too long. Although I did like the English Patient, Run Lola Run and Session 9. Also a huge fan of Monty Python and Mel Brooks older stuff. There is no way I can pick a favorite music group because there are too many! I listen to everything from Emmylou Harris to 311, Kasabian, Sneaker Pimps, Paul Simon, Van Morrison, Jimmy Hendrix, Bob Marley, Korn...see, I love it all! Food wise I used to be picky but I'm a millions times more adventurous now. I will eat anything that has feta cheese or artichoke hearts on it :)

What I should be doing.

Friday is the night I usually just chill out. Chances are I'm at home relaxing. Work can get hectic and a little stressful so Fridays I'm usually ready for a drink and some down time.
