My Self-Summary

I moved to Havasu Nov. 2007 as couldn't take the cold back home. I had a place here so packed up my things in a 26' Penske truck and drove on out, towing the MG behind. En route one night I learned that I couldn't back up with the MG as the towing apparatus went the wrong way :) After an hour in the motel parking lot trying to back out, I asked a stranger patiently waiting to enter if he could back it up. I helped -- I stopped traffic out in the street until he was able to back it out :)

Have done all I'll be doing remodeling in this place, thank goodness. I've grounded myself from any more projects until I finish what's been started, LOL. I recall when my Mom grounded my sister and I for 6 months but look forward to being grounded for even longer at this point in time, LOL:)

What I’m doing with my life

Am currently cashiering at Lowe's but the hours are down dramatically. I usually close. Any job is better than none at all, however, and I so love bantering with the customers.

Enjoy tooling around when it's not too hot (or cold) in my 78 MGB :) Was shifting down from 55+ to the 45 limit today and saw a police car whip around - thank goodness a big white pick up got behind me as well as a few other vehicles so I ducked down another street to get to my destination. Dang, that a heavy foot :) Must improve - must improve! :)

Tiling, dancing to good music, gardening in Mi. and killing plants in Az :)

Guess everyone says money, LOL< Friends, family, health, happiness, a good sense of humor, at least some adventure along with a game of SkipBo or Rummy with family/friends. But not with someone who can beat me all of the time~

I spend a lot of time thinking about

A new project around the house...oops, am grounded from that. Would have to say that then it'd be ways to go green around here due to the heat.

I don't know that there is anything private about me :) I'm an open book; all you have to do is be able to read me. I know that life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but rather the moments that take our breath away; I hope to find that one last time and am sure I will.
