My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a mid-western boy with good, solid, mid-western values... but I'm happy to be living on the west coast! Still, I think it was a great place to grow up and besides, it made me a Packers fan! I will not, however, wear a cheese head! Grew up in Beverly Hills which was an education on a variety of levels... I have a very wide range of interests. The world sometimes strikes me as a kind of playground with a million fantastic things to do, see or experience. There are so many things in the world from which the experience of life may be expanded. Love movies, music, art, theater, the ocean, the mountains, traveling and the usual accompaniment of guy stuff, of course, like sports cars, motorcycles, martial arts, skiing, tennis and scuba diving to name a few.

I'm kind of a Renaissance man, I think. There are so many things I find interesting and fascinating. The problem is there are only so many hours in the day and we must prioritize until the next life comes along. I have some traditional ideas about love and romance which are best revealed in the tenets of honor and chivalry, when the knight might express his love of the princess by risking all to slay the dragon, only bad dragons of course! They are often misunderstood and unnecessarily maligned, but I digress. I haven't seen a dragon in years yet there are opportunities aplenty to slay the proverbial dragon for the love of your life.

And this is NOT to say that a woman is incapable of slaying the dragon herself, she certainly is and she might well do so with a style and flair that is infinitely tidier. No, it is about the act itself, the willingness to lay everything on the line as a measure of devotion. Perhaps the reason the slaying of the dragon is romanticized as it is, is because we seldom get to see such acts of devotion and it is a measure by which we may gauge ourselves.

I love animals and my dogs are some of the best "people" I know. They are the stalwart emissaries of unconditional love. I love cats as well though I've lost mine. I love to laugh (who doesn't?) but I also enjoy the serious and more contemplative side of life. I am always looking to expand my awareness and understanding of the universe and actively seek answers to the secrets of life (there's more than one, you know). That pursuit includes trying to make myself the best I can be and to make the most of my gifts.

I'm looking for a woman who is my best friend and partner in crime and everything else but who is also someone I find absolutely irresistible in every way. I would love her to be someone who makes me laugh and knows me well enough to know what I'm thinking (some of the time) and I would like to be able to have intellectual and philosophical discussions from time to time about the meaning of life and other popular topics. That can be as sexy and stimulating as a bikini on the beach. If the world is my playground then she is my playmate. I'm quite the romantic, been engaged a couple of times but so far, finding the right girl has eluded me. And so the search continues...

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot., sex, skiing, motorcycles, sunsets on the ocean and mountain top views of the world... also pizza, chinese food and a Musso & Frank ground beef steak, medium rare with grilled onions and steak fries... star-filled skies... and a great and powerful story well told that lifts and inspires one to greater heights... and so on... Is that more than six?
