My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
It was a few weeks before my high-school graduation and I had somehow crashed a random party when some sort of alpha-male approached me and asked me who I was in a rather threatening tone. I was confounded, not necessarily because the man in question had biceps as large as jet-engines, but rather due to his insistence that I summarize myself in a sentence in a two so that he could figure out who the skinny jackass standing in front of him actually was. I had spent all of my life trying to figure out who I am and what defines me and yet I'm grasping for answers just to then have to summarize the essence of my character to complete strangers. I considered the question to be absurd and an awkward silence ensued until he pushed me out of the apartment in a rather forceful manner.

Now I'm sitting here, thinking about the same question. And just like then I'm at a loss of words. Who am I? What makes me stick out? Why am I unique? I don't have the slightest idea. Perhaps I am no different, perhaps I am just like everyone else. A thought that is just as intimidating as what I feel now, that being the feeling of not knowing anyone, yet alone myself. I propose you write to me, not because I have a self-summary that explains me in a splendid way but because I don't. And together we might get to know each other and by extension ourselves so that eventually we can write a new self-summary that unlike this one actually gets to the cores of our characters.
