My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
In a nutshell, I'm a geeky Mormon software engineer with a lot of passion for life, and two loving cats.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working at a large software company. I'll give you three guesses. When I'm not working, I'm cycling, hiking, sewing, sailing, skiing, star crafting, or otherwise entertaining myself.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Dancing. I love clubbing, and I been doing so for years. I've taken swing classes, but I'm super sporadic about how much I go, so I've never gotten good at the partner stuff, but I really wish I was. I've just never had the right partner!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My boisterous personality and self-assuredness. I get really excited about a lot of things, most of them not important. I also have a pretty unique fashion sense. I love to express myself. People also pick up on my propensity to make myself the butt of the joke. Seriously, it will take about an hour with new people before they realize that teasing me is just about the funnest thing to do ever.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

My two favorite movies to introduce people to are Mystery Men and Big Trouble. I think they are hilarious and am surprised that more people have not seen them. I also love Fantastic Mr. Fox and Galaxy Quest, but I feel those are more well known. Contact and Proof and probably the most emotional movies for me.
I'm all about american sit-coms, the good ones (HIMYM (ending stunk, though), Seinfeld, The Office (Jim and Pam <3 ), Dharma and Greg, TBBT, Community, Arrested Development, etc.). I also love procedural dramas (Monk, Castle, Psych, Bones before it went off the rails, etc.), but I watch a lot less of those these days. I enjoy a fair dose of British television as well (Doctor Who, Coupling, The IT Crowd, Red Dwarf, Downton Abby).
I love dance music and female singer-songwriter stuff. I have a soft spot in my heart for Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. I wish that Daft Punk had won their grammies for their *real* best album, Discovery.
I love certain Video Game franchises as well. Zelda, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Phoenix Wright, Star Craft, Guild Wars, etc. Bioware is seriously good at what they do.
I love sushi, though I still haven't found my favorite place in the area.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) My relationship with my Heavenly Father.
2) Friends. I love my friends and I've fiercely loyal to the ones that stick by me.
3) Passion. What I'm passionate about changes from year to year, but I need something to sink myself into.
4) Church. It is such a part of my life, I almost didn't include it, but it's where I spend my Sundays, and where over half of my support network comes from.
5) Technology. I'm dependent, and I don't think that's a bad thing. I do take breaks, through.
6) Something to do. I really enjoy working on problems and creating things.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How my religion interfaces with modern life.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Clubbing, or playing video games, or at a Mormon house party. Depends on what's been planned.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Honestly, I have very few secrets, but I prefer to talk about stuff face to face than to a random internet void.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are an interesting and passionate person who want to learn and have fun, and doesn't mind dealing with pre-marriage celibacy (real celibacy, none of this half-way oral-doesn't-count stuff, but we'd make up for it after ;) ) or future religious children.
