My Self-Summary
I'm a single mother of 2 teens. I love animals of all kinds - we have a dog, a
cat, 4 snakes, and a lizard. I like to read, spend time with family and friends, and learn new
things.
I do not suffer fools gladly - intelligence is a priority. I don't necessarily mean advanced degrees and years at school, but rather the ability to think logically and form coherent opinions.
A good, quirky sense of humor is important to me as well - I wouldn't have made it past 20 without one!

I'm trying to improve myself in many ways. I'm pursuing my BS degree, losing weight by walking more and eating healthy (down 14 pounds so far!), and trying to meet new people and get out more. I'd love to meet someone compatible and start camping again next spring.

Laughing - both at myself and others. I'm very good at napping and
eating too. Not so great at exercise - all of which is why I'm not
on the cover of any magazines!

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, but like other
stuff too. Wuthering Heights and 1984 have been long time
faves.
Movies: I don't go to the movies much, usually only when my kids insist on seeing something. We generally go for horror or comedy.
Music: I like most music except country and rap. To give you an idea - my iPod has Marilyn Manson as well as the Cowboy Junkies and some Stones on it. Which ones I forward over and which I listen to all depend on my mood.
Food: I like most food - and it shows! More of me to love - or hate. I'm working on that right now, though - I don't plan on becoming a covergirl, just a better me.
