I studied fish for my masters and now I am an environmental consultant. I've only been in the OC for a couple of years now. I'm looking to make new friends and meet new people. Although I've been on dates with all races, I have only been in interracial relationships. I am a SoCal girl (grew up in LA, went to school in SD, and now in the OC), but I don't fit all those stereotypes of being fake, materialistic, and cold, but I guess you'd have to be the judge.

Making my attempts at meeting new people, making new friends, and maybe meeting the guy I'm looking for (although I've stopped holding my breath and that wonderful blue color has washed away from my cheeks).

Books - I love to read, but I haven't done much of it lately. I was a theatre minor and focused a lot on theatre history...I love reading Shakespeare and Greek tragedies. I also love reading the classics...yes, I read the books I was assigned in English class.

Movies - I pretty much love all movies, but I love horror flicks best. I'm really easy-going when it comes to movies. It usually has to be pretty bad for me to say I didn't like a movie. I grew up Disney and my fave animated is Beauty and the Beast. Other movies I love (in no particular order) - The Sixth Sense, Pretty Woman, Dogma, Office Space, Troy, The Shining, Interview with a Vampire, The Breakfast Club, Indianna Jones, Back to the Future and Star Wars.

TV shows - Heroes, House, CSI (Las Vegas), Lost, Supernatural, Law & Order (SVU), The Mentalist, Ghostwhisperer, and Brothers & Sisters.

Music - I listen to just about everything - rock, top 40, pop, oldies - and yes, even country. But I'm more of a radio junkie - I listen to KROQ and prefer alternative rock...I like Rise Against, Weezer, Green Day, Jack Johnson, Plain White Ts, Foo Fighters, Linkin Park, the Offspring, 30 Seconds to Mars, U2, Sheryl Crow, Fiona Apple, Tom Petty, and the list goes on and on and on. But don't be fooled...I also love the Beach Boys and Elvis!

Food - Love it!!! Italian is my absolute favorite, but I'm open to any good food. The ironic thing is, I can't cook! OK...maybe I can cook, but it takes conscious effort...and a good recipe that is easy to follow. Bonus - I can prep food like no other. Even better - I'll eat it if you cook it. :)
