My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am serious, faithful, and honestly blur.

I don't know if the three words above are enough to describe me.

Let's start with the last one: "honestly blur"

I have been "accused" a few times by my friends of walking past them without noticing them. Ok, I agree that I walk fast and that tends to make me focus mostly on zipping my way past crowds.

I can take the slow stroll though, but then within minutes I will be at my fast pace again. Old habits die hard, don't they?

A joke among my guy friends is that I don't have an "efficient radar system" when it comes to girls.

A common scenario is that one of them will spot one beautiful lady walking by (usually I end up as the one with my back to her). And when I turn around like a blur sotong, the subject of discussion will be out of sight, or around the corner. You see?

For foreigners, "blur" is a local word for "confused". "Sotong" is a Malay word for octopus or squid.

Onto the second word: Faithful...

Big word and that is a tad hard to really explain. One meaning could be that I don't tend to abandon ship easily. It does not mean that I will do those "fight to the last man" kind of scenes as in the movies 300 or Shaolin...although these look cool.

If one is to fight to the end, then that cause has to be worth fighting for.

Sorry to be putting out all the serious talk here, but that leads me to the next point..."Serious"

What to do when the majority of my time is spent on work? Yeah, and based on my personal statistics gathered over the past 8 years of my working life, I have been in jobs that fall into either one of the following

1) companies struggling to survive.
2) frontline or customer service jobs that attract lots of grumbling customers who delight in making life a living hell.

You may see from my profile that I am almost a history or military strategy student...almost.

My brother once said that with my interest in history, mythology and military strategy, I should work in either a library or musuem.

Great, so he is saying that I am either a library book or fossil relic!!!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working? Maybe over-worked already...and too little time to think about it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Sing song, tell story...yeah...you believe?

If that is one thing, I dare to say I am good at...I think there is none. I don't like boasting.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Do they notice me in the first place? I am just a nobody.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Air (to be more precise, oxygen) 2) Food and water 3) Computer (ok lah, to list some material objects...) 4) My handphone 5) can't think of anymore 6) not listening...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whether the choices I made in life so far, are these the right ones?

I think over the missed opportunities that I had, and I know that there were circumstances that made me unable to grasp them.

Too late for regrets. I can only say these are the hands that Fate has dealt me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
1) Working OT...quite common nowadays in Singapore.

2) At the computer...increasing post counts in forums]. I know I must seem a very boring person. But I guess I am more of a homely person and will prefer to sit at home and relax on Friday evenings.

3)
However...I will be still game for interesting things...bowling or pool...I am not good with them, so you can thrash me easily...haha.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can get angry rather fast...much so like the Incredible Hulk...although I don't mutate into a green and mean giant.

But the good thing is that it takes a lot to make me real angry...

Ok, I admit I may not be a perfect being but well, who is? People have called me a good conversationalist but I beg to differ. My type of interests are more of a laid-back and relaxed nature. Life is already so stressed, why make it more so?
