I'm from the south; my family's from Mississippi, I grew up in Dallas, Texas, and I went to college in Indiana. There are some things I really hate about the south (conservative/religious values, racism, discrimination disguised as patriotism) but there are some things I love that are a big part of who I am. A sense of community, beautiful wide open spaces, bluegrass music, barbecue, bonfires and skinny dipping, southern manners and hospitality. It's a place that can be captivating and challenging in equal measure.
I love to travel, and that's how I ended up in LA! I take every chance I get to live somewhere new, for work or school, or just because. In the past four years I've lived for at least a few months in Texas, Indiana, England, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and now California. I've had the time of my life meeting people and figuring out life in each new place.
