My self-summary
in 2012, after four years working in midtown New York, I took a leap of faith after some financial planning - quit my job, packed my bags, flew to California, drove up the coast, saw the Big Sur, San Diego, San Francisco, LA, flew to China, backpacked my way through the eastern coast, went to Shanghai, then Chengdu, saw the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, Terra Cotta Warriors, danced to Gundam style with crazy Korean tourists, hiked up a one of the five sacred mountains in China in complete darkness, reached the top and watched the sunrise, went to Emeishan and played with monkeys, volunteered at a panda reserve on my birthday, danced on a bar to a Michael Jackson song, made a lot of friends and met a lot of interesting people.

I've since then came back to the states, started my book, and launched my own Life Coaching company. I pride myself on
surrounding myself with a group of intelligent, driven, sarcastic, genuine, optimistic people. We get down on the weekends and can get deeper than the belly of the ocean in our conversations. The basic premise of almost all of my close friends start with "How can I make this world a better place?"

My main interests are basketball, tennis, NFL (Go Giants!), traveling, psychology of happiness and aesthetics. If you have similar hobbies, do say hello.
What I’m doing with my life
Changing the world one mind at a time. Rescued a kitten on the side of a highway and made it a member of my household, now it scratches all the leather furniture up and runs into walls when it gets excited #regret?
I’m really good at
I'm a USTA 4.0 tennis player, I play basketball 2-3 times a week and I'm also a certified archer and a decent pool player. I know the science of happiness, I can order Chinese food in Chinese, I'm a pretty good endurance swimmer, I can squat 360 lbs (yeah that's not a typo), I can do a one handed pushup, I have a pretty decent wardrobe and have worked at a dance studio for 2 years taking free dance lessons in exchange, I can draw comic book characters pretty well, I minored in English and know this is one long run-on sentence, I was voted class clown three times, I can probably make you laugh, I exude optimism because I've been through the #roughlife and express gratitude every chance i get.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'll just quote some lines I've gotten -
"Are you Korean?" (I'm not)
"soccer playah!" (I'm not)
"Nice outfit" (I do dress well on occasion)
"Are you gay?" (because of the above, I'm not)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Movies - Inception, American Beauty, Fight Club, The Fountain, Babel, Good Will Hunting, The Hours, Lions for Lambs, The Aviator, A Beautiful Mind, Dark Knight, Project X, Wedding Crashers, Hero (Jet Li),

Music - EDM (before it was popular), Porter Robinson, District 78, Hip hop that has good beats and good lyrics. random pop music I can dance to. I'm a huge fan of Lady Gaga actually.

TV - Game of Thrones, Homeland, The League, Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Modern Family, Suits, Sports Center, Tosh.0, 60 Minutes.
The six things I could never do without
the gym, Positive Psychology, TED.com, humor, friends that know how to say the right things at the right time.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
politics - US foreign policy for one, China's rise and how it affects global politics, neighbors and what it means for my family back there, inspiration, traveling destinations, the science of happiness, how to create massive change in my clients, how to get more clients, how to improve myself and the Positive Psych field in general, NBA statistics. I'm one of people that loves to think about the why, and not the who and what.
On a typical Friday night I am
Dancing my butt off or in watching a movie. Depends on the night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
One of my favorite monologues - "I apologize to you if I don't seem real eager to jump into a forced awkward intimate situation that people like to call dating. I don't like the feeling. You're sitting there, you're wondering do I have food on my face, am I eating, am I talking too much, are they talking enough, am I interested I'm not really interested, should I play like I'm interested but I'm not that interested but I think she might be interested but do I want to be interested but now she's not interested? So all of the sudden I'm getting, I'm starting to get interested... And when am I supposed to kiss her? Do I have to wait for the door cause then it's awkward, it's like well goodnight. Do you do like that ass-out hug? Where you like, you hug each other like this and your ass sticks out cause you're trying not to get too close or do you just go right in and kiss them on the lips or don't kiss them at all? It's very difficult trying to read the situation. And all the while you're just really wondering are we gonna get hopped up enough to make some bad decisions? Perhaps play a little game called "just the tip". Just for a second, just to see how it feels. Or, ouch, ouch you're on my hair. "
