My Notes edit

My self-summary

Right now work consumes most of my time. I recently got a job as a general manager of a late night cookie and brownie store. I couldn't love it more.

Otherwise, I'm somewhat of a thoughtful observer. I cherish good conversation. The topics that most try not to talk about (i.e. religion, politics, sex) are my favorite topics to discuss/argue about. I am open to nearly everything, have very few fears (though I do still get a bit shy from time to time), and am obsessed with the idea of seeing the entire world.

I love a good game night, am up for going out time to time, love good restaurants, good movies, an occasional video game (though I don't really play much on my own as I get bored with it very quickly, I do like to play with a friend). I'm all about adventure, taking long walks to wherever I/we end up, and dreaming big.

I want to be an activist, but can't decide which issue I most want to be an activist on. My ideas are activist, but I haven't really physically picketed anything. I am very pro-constitution, anti religion being involved in government in any way, pro equal rights for all citizens (gay people and atheists seem to be the most discriminated against at the moment). I'm glad we elected the most intelligent individual on the ballot, and I do hope to attend the inauguration.

What I'm doing with my life

I'm doing as much as possible. When I don't like doing something anymore, I do something else. I'm a general manager at a cookie store downtown. It is perfect.

I'm really good at

a good number of things. I tend to get really good at something, then stop and go get really good at something else.

The first thing(s) people usually notice about me

That they are not sure what to think about me

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books- I Am America(and so can you!) -Colbert --it really is that funny
The End Of Faith- Sam Harris

Movies- I'll give you a couple, but there are so very many... V for Vendetta, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Hotel Rwanda, Kinsey, Finding Neverland, Juno, Blow, The Dreamers, Shortbus, Primal Fear, Closer, The Life of David Gale, Good Will Hunting, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Billy Madison, Man on Fire

Music-Some of the favorites right now are Incubus, System of a Down, Hoobastank, Seether, Queen, Maroon 5, 311, Tenacious D, Aerosmith, Polly Paulusma, Paramore, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against The Machine

The six things I could never do without

The internet(useful), freedom, lovely people, interesting and delicious cuisine, a decent job, opposable thumbs

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Society, religion, the concept of love, good food, social equality, freedom, tomorrow, the next ten minutes, game nights, the alternate lifestyle community, wine, how I can significantly impact the issues I care about.

On a typical Friday night I am

At work, then usually something somewhat social

The most private thing I'm willing to admit here

I am a notorious mid-sleep blanket thief
