My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Imagine you're on a game show and you get to the final round. The host tells you that you can take one more question, double or nothing or you can walk away with what you've already won. What do you do? If you'd try your luck, we have something in common.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I get a great deal of fulfillment from the work that I do for the city running a job placement program serving marginalized populations. Also trying to inspire people to have a positive emotional response to something. Raising my puppy Rocky into a respectable adult. Traveling as much as I possibly can. Being a good older brother.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Storytelling. Finding the silver lining in all situations. Riding elephants, Cooking bacon, riddles, Respecting authenticity.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
For better or worse, I'm very approachable.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: anything by Chuck Palahniuk, David Brooks, Klosterman, Sedaris, or Gladwell.
It must be something that happens as you get older but I'm developing an affinity to jazz.
Food: Eclectic taste in food. It's a prerequisite of being a native New Yorker. I recently learned to cook Thai.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family, Friends, Adventure, Laughter, A project to work on, Google (for immediate answers, like the rest of humanity)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
A lot of people say "my future," but always thinking about your future sounds bleak.

People that are depressed are living in the past, people that are anxious are living in the future, those at peace are living in the present (some old Chinese dude said that so it must be true).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out and about looking for some trouble to get into.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a plan for the zombie apocalypse....Just in case...

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to chat about the first random thing that comes to mind. You want to try something scary, or silly or thrilling and you need a co-pilot/accomplice/witness. You'd go double or nothing.
