My self-summary
I acted in a webisode where I clucked like a chicken and argued about the Bible. Ask me about it.
What I’m doing with my life
Good question. As a professional, I spent seven years at a newspaper, watching stupid people do terrible things and awesome folks renew my faith in humanity. Now I'm working as a communications director for a nonprofit.

On my own time, I bounce between relaxing and jumping into projects/adventures. In 2013 I started boxing, won a trophy in a kickball league and went skydiving. In 2014, helped keep my friends out of jail during their wedding, went rafting twice and snowshoed in Alaska. Looking forward to what's next!
I’m really good at
I'm mildly awesome at being sarcastic, writing, brewing beer, photography and playing poker.
The first things people usually notice about me
Used to be the long blond hair before I donated it again to kids with cancer.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
A. As a kid I used to love books so much it wasn't uncommon for me to wake up with marks on my face from the corner of the book I slept on. I've picked up reading again in the past year or so, but more for pure entertainment. Very sad Michael Crichton is gone, although Stephen King's stuff is pretty good. Bought a paperback copy of Crime and Punishment at an airport for shits and giggles, yes, you read that right. Wasn't a big fan when I finally got through it all.

B. Blazing Saddles, Full Metal Jacket and The Godfather are high on my list, although I enjoy the likes of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. On the idiot box, I can always watch Futurama or South Park, and tend to follow USA series like White Collar or Covert Affairs.

C. My iPod generally has a collection of: classic rock, rock, metal, pop, jazz and Jimmy Buffet. My full-time list includes Rush, Iron Maiden, Blind Guardian, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Dream Theater and Dragonforce. I don't like The Beatles since they ripped off a lot off 1940s and 1950s American musicians for their "original sound." And honestly, I just don't like most of their style.

D. Seafood, Thai, Indian, Mexican, Italian, American and pretty much everything else you can find is good with me, so long as there's no cheese or ranch sauce. I am hardcore about spicy food.
The six things I could never do without
1. Truth
2. Family/friends
3. Internet (Remember those things called libraries?)
4. Music because I am way more productive listening to tunes
5. Curiosity
6. Faith in myself, others, life and beyond
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Anything and everything, just like everyone else.

Seriously, it's astounding how everyone thinks they're unique in how they actually ponder mysteries about life and the universe, or at least what's going on with them... But yeah, I do a lot of thinking.
On a typical Friday night I am
It's a rarity to find me at a trendy club. I'm more comfortable enjoying a Belgian brew at Croxley's, grabbing a bite with friends, going for a night walk on the beach, playing cards or something else fun.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Do you really want to know?
You should message me if
Sometimes you feel like a nut... and sometimes you don't.
