My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Active, thoughtful, generous, entrepreneurial, and fun-loving. Enjoy a wide range of activities from getting outdoors playing tennis, hiking, cycling, gardening, backpacking, and sailing. Also enjoy wide-ranging conversations, learning, reading, live music, dancing, museums, entertaining, cooking, remodeling, and traveling. Getting out in nature, especially to the ocean, renews me. Italian, Swiss, German, and French heritage.

Looking for a partner to share life, grow with, and bring out the best in (and vice versa). Laughing, exploring, and enjoying life while making a difference in the world are important to me as I hope they are to you.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Chilling with my family and friends, playing tennis, hiking, and traveling. Learning. Meditating. Exploring. Regularly pushing outside my comfort zone.

Professionally, after 28 years with a well-known company, first in environmental protection and then in high-tech product development, marketing, and alliance management/business development, I decided to head in new career directions. In 2012, I finished up a stint as president of a gluten-free food start-up and am currently consulting for a medical device start-up. Volunteering as time permits.

Since I love being around the ocean and grew up sailing small sail boats, I'm now sailing larger sail boats on the Bay. Enjoying learning the art of photography.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being a dad (now also being applied to being a grandad) - my daughter and son both are now grown and living on their own. Seeing the big picture. Being both active and mindful. Tennis. Laughing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My blue eyes, smile, warmth, and authenticity.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Connection with family and friends, authenticity/heart/passion (my Italian-side), mindfulness, touch and affection, meaningful work, fun exercise and movement, laughing, nature, enjoying life's many dimensions.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
