My self-summary
Hey there! i just reactivated this account after having it closed for awhile. Easing myself back in I suppose.

I, like most other folks in this city, am a transplant. I moved here from California six years ago and I like to call myself a recovering Californian. I am in love with this beautiful city, and state.

I love the outdoors. Hiking. Kayaking. Camping. River floats. Beach trips. Crabbing. Park days. Frisbee. Bocce. Fishing. Random road trips. If you aren't into the outdoors on some level we probably won't make a good match.

I love watching sports but I don't really play. I am a huge Raiders and Timbers fan. I also am a Blazer, and Ducks fan but am not as passionate about those two. Liking sports isn't a necessity but it sure would help.

In a perfect world, I'd soon meet someone I could spend many years-the rest of my life with. If that happens on here- great If not, I will be happy to have met new, fun people who enjoy the same things as I do. But ultimately I am looking for something long term.

KCCO!
What I’m doing with my life
Laughing, dancing, loving, listening, learning.

I was in school studying environmental science but I had to take some time off. I'll go back soon though. So now I'm a personal assistant/nanny and I actually really like doing volunteer work.
I’m really good at
Being kind to others. Seeing a positive side of things. Seeing the good in others. Pep talks. Stopping to pet every.single.dog or cat that I encounter. Cuddle puddles. Taking naps. Leaf stomping. Slide sliding. Swing Swinging. Getting lost on the bus. Hitting my head. Giving hugs. Always having chapstick and my water handy. Googling stuff. Not littering. Eating all the browines. Remembering my dreams. Wearing sunglasses all year round. Summer, not so good at winter. Not remembering really funny jokes I have been told.

Laughing at this...

On a typical Friday night I am
I'm not huge into partying anymore. I used to be and I still enjoy it on occasion but I am not the girl that needs to be out on the town on a Friday night.
I could be at, or watching a sporting event. Blazers or Timbers game anyone?
I could be at a beer theater.
I could be out camping, I probably wish I was out camping.
I could be kayaking, I probably wish I was out kayaking.
I could be fishing, I probably wish I was out fishing.
I could be hanging out at home, watching a movie on my porch, reading, or having a solo dance party.
I could be out dancing to a fun band or at some dive bar drinking whiskey gingers.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
It was never easy for me. I was born a poor black child.

I have never made a snow man.

I have never seen an Indiana Jones movie.

I don't like pie.

I use an umbrella. (blasphemy, I know!)
