My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an outgoing, fun, smart, selfless, and at times sarcastic professional and the"little" things in life bring me the most pleasure... like being a human jungle gym for my nephews or finding the one McDonalds that still gives out honey with chicken nuggets.

Random Fun Facts:
1) I love ketchup and gravy but hate tomatoes
2) I was in a Broadway show (one night only)
3) I don't have pierced ears
4) I've been propelled by a dolphin through the water (simultaneously fun and terrifying)
5) I prefer sunrises to sunsets
6) I've played football in Times Square
7) I have a new years resolution to be able to do headstand in yoga without taking out the person next to me
8) I love to learn and am fascinated by the smallest things

I've been lucky enough to have experienced some amazing things but I still have many boxes left on my bucket list ... I'm not planning on jumping out of a plane, but I prefer to not to be married to my couch (although I do love long naps on it).

What you see is what you get with me, I don't believe in playing games or drama - life is too short for that sort of nonsense. I would also like to add that life is also too short to not eat well (my definition of “well” is less Nobu/Per Se and more like Shake Shack/Ippudo/Mighty Quinns/Danji/Korilla truck). I make a mean short rib ragu.

I have to say that I've been blessed with great friends and a great family and overall I'm really enjoying life - the one thing that is missing is someone to share it with.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work hard during the week at a job that I'm happy to say challenges me each day, but I'm not defined by that...I work so that I can live the life that I want: travel to fun new places, have dinner out with friends and deal with the evil scalpers who charge way too much for the concerts and games that I want to go to.

Outside of work I stay pretty active with yoga, running and football. I'm very social and am usually out a few nights a week with friends or co-workers. I try to keep a healthy lifestyle but am a sucker for a good food truck and a cold beer.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being comfortable with who I am

I think I'm also pretty good at football, but seeing that I have a tendency to break fingers playing, my mom would argue against that point.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
a) I'm usually laughing
b) I look a wee bit younger than I am (which is good because I'm young at heart)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Food: Anything handheld or from a food truck/festival (burritos, tacos, ribs, sliders, pork buns). Noodles in every form (ramen, mac n cheese, soba, carbonara etc)
Music: Live loud music, preferably of the alt/indie/folk rock sort. My mosh pit days are most likely behind me. The list from recent outings include: Muse, Cage the Elephant, Mumford, Passion Pit, Phoenix, Silversun Pickups, DMB, Vampire Weekend, The Postal Service...and finally 20 years after I first heard them, Pearl Jam!
Movies: As long as it is not horror, I will enjoy it. Favorites include High Fidelity, Lord of the Rings, Empire Records, American President, Shawshank Redemption, Bronx Tale, Muppet Movie. I always watch Star Wars (IV, V, VI) and The Godfather whenever they are on TV.
Shows: Daily Show, Happy Endings(RIP), Scandal, HIMYM, Downton Abbey, CBS Sunday Morning, Game of Thrones, College Gameday, Newsroom, I keep hoping Friday Night Lights, West Wing and Sopranos will somehow come back as they were the best shows to ever air.
Books "Where is Joe Merchant" is still my favorite followed by "A Walk in the Woods"
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Good crusty Italian bread
2) My Cuisinart
3) Bill Simmons Mailbags (as few as they are these days sadly)
4) Proximity to a body of water
5) The New York Times
6) Spell Check
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why did I spend time filling this out when I know that most people only look at the pictures....
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either on my couch because it was a long week or out at the beer garden/movies/concert/sporting event.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My name is not Liz
