MORE:: Also, I am tempted to start a Morton's List group in Tucson, but a meetup group costs money and I don't want to fork over cash just to run it up the flagpole. Feel free to message me if you might like to see that happen.
I love fantasy, science fiction, actual science, technology, and things that go bump.
I dig exploring urban, rural, and wilderness areas of all sorts. I try to get out to do some urban spelunking. I enjoy hiking around and taking pictures of run-down and pristine areas.
Gloomy things make me happy: Graveyards, swamps, overcast days (stormy weather is a beach day, to me), spooky settings, old farms at night... These things speak to me. It might be because there are few people in those places. Not many people like a beach as a storm approaches.
I've been told I am pretty laid back. But I can be kind of a jerk when it comes to standing up for what I believe in. And I have some very strong ideas in the areas of ethics and social justice.
I am polyamorous. With gogoghoul, I am one half of a poly couple. Polyamory is definitely the way to go, if you can handle it. The experience has been both awesome and enlightening. It's taught me a lot about relationships. It's definitely not for everyone, but it's for me.
Anyone who is interested in me and my life should be aware of and respectful of my relationships with any others. My partners are a part of me. Whatever happens, anyone involved with one of us has to be aware that honesty is the rule.
To name myself, since I enjoy labels: atheist, poly, skeptic, scientist, INTJ, lover, fighter, gamer, feminist, geek, nerd, explorer, student, transhumanist, father, teacher, humanist, kinky, dominant, top, cisgendered, heterosexual, male, daddy.
