UPDATE: I've met someone here and I'll probably be taking my profile down soon. I hope each of you find the happiness I've found. Best wishes to all!

An avid reader with a large vocabulary, I enjoy a wide variety of literature: fiction and non-fiction. I have a great sense of humor and enjoy telling jokes (sometimes dirty). Playing with words is always fun. I love to laugh and am always joking around.

I love a wide variety of music: from classical to country to modern rock to old folk tunes and even some rap. I enjoy singing karaoke and love to dance, but my dancing is a bit rusty. I love The Piano Guys and Pentatonix.

I get along well with most people, but prefer a partner who is my equal. An extrovert with a high IQ, I enjoy discussing a wide range of subjects including science, math, history and movies. I enjoy computers and have an intuitive affinity for them. I find everything interesting so I'm never bored. I am not an intellectual snob and dislike those who are.

My favorite TV shows are Jeopardy!, Elementary and Big Bang Theory. I listen to NPR on weekends.

I try to stay current with cultural trends, science, innovations, technology and music. I am a good cook and enjoy cooking and baking. I go to the gym regularly and am slowly getting fitter. Weight loss continues to be a struggle for me.

I am currently working as an Administrative Assistant for a non-profit. Previously, I have worked as a food scientist (patents world-wide) and a teacher of various subjects (Elementary to adults), including Spanish. I am a native Spanish speaker and have no accent in either Spanish or English. I have owned my own business and worked for Fortune 500 Co. and start ups.

I am getting divorced after 35 years of faithful marriage to an abusive alcoholic. A sapiosexual, I like intelligent men but I don't want just a hook up; I am looking for the right man, and am patient enough to allow our physical relationship to ignite into a high libido romance. I am a hot-blooded, passionate Latina but no slut. I am a lady and like to be treated as one.

My deep faith is important to me and I am active in my church. I go to Bible study and church every Sunday. Though I have a deep faith, I do not proselytize or push my religious views onto others. I am very compassionate and patient. I do not judge others and we probably won't get along if you do. I am a progressive Christian and disagree with fundamentalism.

I am getting my badge from the grammar police any day now (OK, I made up the last part, but the rest of the stuff is true).
I like emoticons.

I am looking for that special man. I want an intelligent man who savors life, likes to have fun and can create new memories with me. I don't NEED a man but I want one to share our lives together.

The list is too long for this space, but send me a message and we can discuss it. Better yet, maybe we can discuss it over coffee or dinner.

l need music in my life every day. I love to dance but I'm very rusty.

It is hard to pick favorites because I like so many different ones. I read many fiction and nonfiction books of different genres and I like many movies except violent ones. I like a wide variety of music - from classial to modern rock - and love live theater.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

2. water
3. food

6. books (including the Bible)

Number 7 would be music. I need music in my life every day.

While I love puzzles, riddles, video and board games. I can do without drama and head games. I am very open and sincere, and would like a man who is likewise.

Message me if you live near me (CT or MA) and are interested in exploring a friendship that could develop into a long-term relationship. I have no interest in a long-distance relationship and I'm not looking to hook up.
