I am an enigma, a force of and with nature, a puzzle unto myself that you cannot unlock, as I belong to the house of tomorrow.
I am very well educated and love high spirited, high-octane conversations on a variety of topics, and the more they involve politics, the stock market or financial topics, religious views and / or are otherwise based in topical or esoteric current events or foreign policy, the better. Stimulate my brain and you have WON me over!
While I desire someone with whom I share common ground, I enjoy having a certain amount of differing opinions, as it is debate among intelligent equals that keeps the mind sharp, and sharp minds that make for incredible, mind-blowing passion.
I love long walks -- simple walking is so underrated -- fishing, camping, great books and movies, theatre, plays and live music in any form. Really, once the companionship is there, and we are both on the same wavelength, with good solid chemistry, who cares what we are doing? You name it, I'll be there. Except motorcycles.

What I’m doing with my life
I am outside of my life right now.
I am searching for something and I am not quite sure what it
is. The thing I search for is more than just a relationship.
That is all that I know about it.
I sit above my life and watch it wind along on its road, knowing I am waiting for the other dimension or discovery or purpose to reveal itself, but not knowing when that will happen or what it will be, or be about.
And NO, I am not from Boulder! I am a perfectly normal, rational person and am as surprised that this is happening to me as you likely are to be reading about it. I can almost see you there, arched eyebrow, thinking, "Oh, she is one of THOSE people, is she?]] The answer is, "No, I am NOT."
Other than that, I am a writer and musician. The writing is primary. I am at work on a biography that I am ghostwriting for a client. I play flute, piano, and some guitar in my spare time. I also sing.

I’m really good at
I am very good at writing, I believe. I am also good at
singing, reading, loving both emotionally and physically,
experiencing things to their fullest extent so I can carry them
with me always, the language of despair,
and the art of listening.
The first things people usually notice about me
People always seem to notice that I am observant, but that comes later during
the first meeting. I think first, they notice my intelligence, followed by
my petite but
attractive figure, and then I think it is my blue eyes and
sense of humor.

John LeCarre, Nelson DeMille, Patricia Cornwell up until she
started the cop novels, then she just became unreadable in my
opinion. John
Steinbeck, a true Master!
Cormac McCarthy, read "No Country For Old Men", especially if you
saw the movie and think the movie was great, because you are
missing almost HALF of the impact and profundity of the plot.
Movies:
Shawshank Redemption, The Matrix, Dr. Zhivago, Napoleon Dynamite,
The Boondock Saints, Apocalypse Now, Farenheit 9/11, Primary
Colors, China Syndrome. Music: Rock, all genres, and blues, old
Delta style. Rap, Eminem and Jay-Z particularly.
The six things I could never do without

1) It is widely accepted that men as a group dislike being
perceived as weak. Yet so many men, when confronted
by conflict from their woman, become passive-aggressive.
But this style makes a man cower from the woman. I find
this an interesting conundrum. It stymies all
communication and guarantees failure in the relationship,
yet it is the ONLY move so very many men will choose
when confronted with a conflict by their woman.
Intriguing!
2) How will we ever end the stifling global and racial hatred
we hold in our hearts for one another?
