My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I studied Anthropology at the University of Washington. I am still unsure what I plan to do with that or if I am going to try something knew but it was fun while I did it. I lived in London from 2007 to 2008 and have traveled all over Europe and even Egypt. I love to travel, backpack, and camp out. I love experiencing knew adventures and plan to get back into seeing as much of the world as possible!

I am currently working in sales in the marine industry and loathe it. I know this is not my forever career and am constantly working on trying to find something more fulfilling. I live with (I know I know) my grandmother who I help care for. She is on an oxygen tank due to her years of smoking.

I have two cats but LOVE dogs and really want one. I love playing video games, watching a football game and cuddling up to read a good book. I do love to try new things but am also comfortable being a home body. I love to laugh so I need someone with a good sense of humor, who can laugh at themselves and appreciate a good joke.

I'm looking for a best friend. For someone I can talk openly with, cuddle, travel the world or maybe just the neighborhood and seek out adventure, watch horror flicks, tell horrible jokes with, and act like a goof and text whenever I feels like it without reproach!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently I am focusing on my work. I plan to find a more fulfilling job and wont stop until I find it. I'm working on bettering myself psychically. Health is really important to me. I don't want to be older then my age. I'm writing a book in my spare time, but to be honest I've written at least two in my head, and am having difficulty getting it down in words.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Being awkward. I will not lie. I fall and trip and say all the wrong things and sometimes am more quiet then I should be. Which is odd to say since I love to talk. But I take a while to warm up.
- Bowling. I have my own ball, nuff said.
- Video games. People may think this is odd but I love em!
- Helping people! I love reaching out and making a friends or random persons day. It makes me so much happier. So really these selfless acts are terribly selfish.
- gossiping. I know I'm horrible! I can't keep secrets unless they are really really bad and in telling it would lead to death, suicide, loss of job or limb, jail time and the like.
- Buying makeup and not wearing any. I am slightly addicted to anything cosmetic but I rarely wear any. I do love to have dress up days with my girlfriends though. You may have seen me walking around the mall in a tutu and wig. Ain't no shame!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Smile, laugh, eyes, my constant use of sarcasm. Aside from that I have no idea. I've never asked my friends. Though I have been told I talk to myself a lot, but I'm a think out loud kinda girl.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - Hunger games, Harry Potter, A Song of Ice and Fire, I love yous are for white people, many others I can't think of. I love reading. I actually started a 'read 5 books a month thing' for 2012 but that only lasted till July-ish then I stopped keeping track. But in that time I read some pretty horrible books.

Shows/Movies- Breaking Bad, Firefly, Buffy (I may or may not own every season), Dexter, Walking Dead, The Mentalist, Big Bang Theory, The Guild, Always Sunny, Face Off, So You Think You Can Dance (I fantasize about being that talented but I'm far from it.) Wicked (Broadway - seen it 4-5 times), Love, actually, Aliens, Beauty and the Beast (my fav Disney), Pan's labyrinth, The Orphanage, Indiana Jones, Pride and Prejudice, Man on fire (makes me cry every time.) Basically, I love movies.

Music - Everything from classical to Missy Elliot to arctic fox and muse. But not a huge fan of country pop or regular pop. Basically, if it's overplayed on the radio I hate it.

Food - Love salmon and bloody steak. Sadly, I am lactose intolerant and avoid a lot. I am picky but not by choice.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friends, family, a warm bed, books, entertainment, love. Though I am pretty positive I could survive without a lot. I'd probably just be like those ape or wolf kids you read about with zero social or language skills.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
things I shouldn't. Like the past or the negative things in life. This is something I am really looking to change since my future is far more important and a brighter thing to look to.

Also what instrument I want to learn. I'm feeling banjo... or fiddle or guitar or piano or ...see my problem??
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
hanging with friends or family typically watching a good show, movie or playing video games
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Man I wish I was more aware of any private or embarrassing things I'd be willing to admit but sadly I'm having difficulty. I could admit that I am a major nerd and oddball but that isn't unique enough. If I had to admit something I'd want it to be good. It should be something rememberable like, "I was abducted by aliens," or "I sleep with a nightlight" but sadly I can't think of much. So I'll be lame and admit I hate coffee. And I'll return if something saucier comes to light.

Update! I just remembered. I hit a bicyclist once. But in my defense he was one of those types who jump out in front of moving cars giving them no time to break. His grandparents picked him up and actually agreed it was probably his fault. He is alive and well...or at least he survived my car. His bike however did not.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You honestly want to get to know me. If you think you might want to get to know me as a friend, and not more, that is cool too! I always love to meet knew people.

Please don't message me for sex as I am not a fwb type of girl or a one nighter either. Also, no smokers, por favor.
