My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Well, what to say...I'm looking to find someone for something long-term, but to get there dating is obviously required!
It would be nice to have someone to come home to, one day...

I live downtown and love it. I like trying all sorts of restaurants, going to festivals, taking walks (or riding my bike) along the canal, just enjoying life the best I can...because let's face it, Ottawa doesn't have very much to offer in terms of fun.

I have a 9 to 5 job with the Feds that pays my bills. I love my job but it doesn't define me.

Yes, I identify myself as Bi, If you have a problem with that, don't message me. Don't believe the negative stereotypes; I'm honestly a pretty normal guy. I prefer women though...just sayin.

Anyway, if anyone wants to grab a drink/coffee sometime (or if you have another idea...nothing creepy though) give me a shout.
(Btw - I'm kind of obsessed with finding a good cup of coffee in Ottawa...haven't found one yet...any recommendations?)

If you want to know more about me, just ask. I'm a very open person. Honestly, ask me anything.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work the typical Monday-Friday, 9:00-5:00 job with the Feds. I like what I do but it can seem dry to most.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm not really good at just one thing...more of a jack-of-all-trades.

Actually, I must be good a something...hmm...I'm kind of a geography nerd
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't know...if we're talking about physical appearance, I guess my face? ...cuz if they're not looking at my face and I just met them, that would be creepy...

Other than that, my weird sense of humour...like a mix between 'dry British' and dark humour. Although, I'm known for some awful puns once in a while...I can't help it. It's like I'm James Bond but without all the cool stuff.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - mostly non-fiction...anything on the Cold War or Airplanes...seriously, airplanes....yeah

Movies - I love too many to list...but anything that offers some escapism or a non-cliche storyline is best...soooo I lied I guess, I like action movies

Shows - Walking Dead, Archer, House of Cards, old reruns (because old celebrities need a steady income), game shows (I'd gladly sit in a crowd of white poofs of hair if it means I can meet Trebek), cooking shows (when I'm hungry and lazy), cool documentaries (when my brain is like, "you're not going to sleep")

Music - M83, Daft Punk, Of Monsters and Men and a bunch more...my mood depicts what I listen too

Food - all kinds! I'll try almost anything once...just nothing too gross. I recently tried eel and it wasn't that bad. Would I eat it again? No
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Family
2) Friends
3) Food (but not eel)
4) Sex (geez, lighten up)
5) pets...I've always had pets and always will
6) my tiny...scratch that, I recently moved...my mid size downtown apartment
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why 3 coats of paint on a wall is apparently not enough...damn you Wal-Mart!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either at my friends place watching movies/tv shows or playing a board game...yes I like board games so shut up

or

At a pub on Elgin with friends (probably Woody's because I have no idea)
wasting money on overpriced, watery gin-and-tonics
(because beer wanted to make me chubby...the nerve!)
...but hanging out with good friends makes up for it
