My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm looking to find that one special woman for something long-term. I'm not getting any younger.

I live downtown right now and love it. I like trying all sorts of restaurants/foods, going to festivals, taking walks along the canal (preferably with someone), just enjoying life the best I can.

I can be shy at first but once I open up, you'll see more of the real me. I guess that makes sense?

I have a 9 to 5 job with the Government that pays my bills. I love my job but it doesn't define me.

Anyway, if you want to grab a drink/coffee sometime (or if you have another idea) give me a shout. I'm sure we can figure out something fun to do.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work the typical Monday-Friday, 9:00-5:00 job with the Feds. I like what I do but it can seem dry to most.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm not really good at just one thing...more of a jack-of-all-trades.

...but I guess you could say I'm good with my hands. I'm a bit of a handyman (worst joke ever)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Um...no clue
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - mostly non-fiction (I have a huge thirst for knowledge). As for fiction, not much these days, but maybe it's time to find something new. Recommendations?

Movies - Bond movies, comedies, making fun of anything with Nicholas Cage in it :p

Shows - House of Cards, Top Gear, nerdy science shows/documentaries, and whatever I can find on Netflix

Music - Chevelle, Alt-J, M83, Daft Punk, Sigur Ros, The Lumineers, Of Monsters and Men and a bunch more

Food - all kinds! I like to explore all the choices the world has to offer.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order:
1) Family
2) Friends
3) Coffee
4) Intimacy (Being alone sucks)
5) pets...I've always had pets and always will. I'm a big softy when it comes to animals.
6) fresh out of the dryer clean socks!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
life, the future, family...the usual stuff
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either at a friends place (or everyone is a my place) or at a pub with friends.
