Pleasant, friendly, easy-going. I laugh easily, smile a lot and see the humor in many things. Considered by many as loyal and reliable with the patience of Job. Held many management and leadership positions throughout my life, but never liked it much. Not highly ambitious, but very strong work ethic and extremely good at what I do. Devoutly patriotic. In my youth, a superb runner and swimmer, and still in reasonably good shape and healthy as a hound. Have all my teeth and hair. Most take me for a bit younger than I am which makes up for looking like an 8th grader when I graduated high school!

Raised by one of the original liberated women and a career military man. I do best with the independent type rather than a walking romance novel or clinging vine. I'm well-mannered, considerate and polite, but I speak my mind and stand my ground. I respect and expect self-sufficiency and personal responsibility, and definitely believe in all things going both ways. I never expect more of anyone than I do of myself, and you'll get what you give. I probably sound like a hard case, but I'm not. All the gals I've ever worked with think I'm a pretty nice guy. I'm very handy and used to say that I could fix anything but a broken heart. The gals quite often replied, "I'm pretty sure you could do that, too!"

If you're very religious, I'm probably not your type. I answered Christianity because 'Other' seems to send the wrong message. I am a Deist and serious about it. Curious? Look it up in Wikipedia. We play well with others, but don't ask us to join anyone's prayer club. I was a very dedicated Boy Scout, am an Eagle Scout and as a result, those are my moral and ethical roots.

My high school yearbook says, "Calm, likeable and ever-willing to do his part." That pretty much covers it. Kinda like a good paint job. Not too exciting, but pleasant to look at, durable and easy to get along with!

Working. Breathe unassisted. Eat and sleep, and try very hard not to do both at the same time. Reasonably careful since statistically, I won't take the dirt nap until well into my 80's.

Auto mechanics, electrical work and most any trade skill due to exceptional mechanical aptitude. Nothing special; it's hereditary. Reasonably decent sculptor and cartoonist. Crossword puzzles, Scrabble and games of many kinds, but I don't do chess. I'm pretty bright, but chess steps over the nerd line. I love to play baseball and softball. Superb swimmer.

Probably my height, but other than that, easy smile and pleasant manner. Easy talker. As far as I know. If anyone thinks I'm a jerk, when they see me coming, they haven't bothered to run the other way.

Sand Pebbles. Liberty and Tyranny. Like many kinds of movies, but Clint Eastwood is my favorite. Most any music except rap crap and anything related to it. Mainly a rock n' roller, but very fond of R&B. It's my "let's get close and sweaty" music. I like listening to good C&W, but can't dance to it. Willing to learn, but not line dancing. I like to dance WITH 'em, not around 'em. Eat anything moving slow enough for me to catch it. (I like just about everything.)

My kids and grandkids (that's 5) and good food. If food (and coffee) is going to kill me then I'll just have to die! I'm sure they expect a more thoughtful answer, but I'm an electrician, not a philosophy major.

What's for dinner. Making sure every day is productive. Giving my kids sound advice, but only when they ask for it. Continuing to make the best of my life. Yogi Berra was right. It ain't over until it's over.

If not traveling, I'm out for dinner, then watching TV and doing crossword puzzles. Yup. Mr. Excitement. Of course, with proper motivation, would do something far better with my time. And I'm easily motivated.

I snore. But not badly. Just give me shove and I'll roll over.

You find me interesting and have nothing better to do. I don't care much about age at the upper end of the scale. If you're Betty White, I'm available! If you're not, but you could be, I'm still available! It's all about attitude, desire and enthusiasm. Joking about the casual sex, but on the other hand, didn't want to leave anyone out.
