I have been into memoirs recently and really enjoyed both Cupcake
Brown's memoir and many of Augusten Burroughs pieces of work. I
found it interesting to read the entire novel of Stephen King's IT
once when I was 15 and again at 30. That book is more than 1000
pages and reading it as an adult was so much more fulfilling and
quite a bit easier.
I like a very wide variety of music ranging everywhere. I listen
to(and spin for fun) happy hardcore, and also listen to trance,
alternative, rock, indie, pop, dance electronica, and showtunes. To
name some favorite bands: Imagine Dragons, Foster The People,
Lifehouse, The Calling, Marilyn Manson, Smashing Pumpkins.
I have some guilty pleasure shows, but the one good show I really
love is a series now over, a treasure called "Queer As Folk". I
will admit, I did also fall in love with the first season of "The
Anna Nicole Smith Show".
For movies, I have three favorite directors: John Waters, Quentin
Tarantino and Darren Aronofsky. I'm also a big sucker for old
Disney movies and Pixar films. Old for Disney (for me anyway) is
really anything before the year 2000. There are a couple of
exceptions here and there.
I love Japanese and Indian food but I am partial to just about
anything else.
